Chapter nine : it's bad but still good

Nicki POV

I woke up by the morning alarm to be honest I didn't feel like going to training but I got up anyway .

" Z wake up " I said shaking her

" I don't want to go to training to see that so called coach "

" Me either but get up " after 5 minutes of waking her up she finally got up .

And ones again we were running late .

" zaira seriously can u walk a lil faster "

" I'm walking " she said still half asleep .

When we arrived we saw the usual over by the bleachers stretching . me and zaira walked over to them and greeted them good morning and began stretching after a couple minutes . I saw couch Eva and Vicky walking on the field .

" Good morning today I want you guys to do some drills "

Everyone got up and started to do the drills but Leila .

" Miss Leila when are u planning to start "

" When coach ally gets back "

" We'll then u can go wait on coach ally in your room cause your off this team "

" What " we all look in disbelief as she walked of the field with a speed

" anyone else have anything to say " we all shook our head no and ran the ten laps in silent . we and coach eva knew the team wasnt as good without her here .

On our way back to the dorm every thing was silent until zaira spoke up

" was she serious ?? "

" i hope not cause she's family and we all know we arent as good without her and lets face the fact we might also lose " zaira looked at me and she shook her head in agreement . the rest of the walk to the dorm was silent .

Marcus POV

I was on my way to class not looking where i was going i bumped in to some girl . not looking up from my phone i said sorry and walked around her . all of a suddden i heard the girl caling me

" hey dude " girls like this are what get on my last nerv aggravated i turned and looked at her

" what " she didnt look half bad she was around 5 ft 4 long black hair and green eyes.

" your the one thats walking in to people "

" well hell if u saw i wasnt looking why didnt you move " i looked at her and she didnt answer

" dont got anything to say know do yah " i looked at my watch dam im going to be late for class

" anyway nice talking to you " i didnt get her name so i waited for her to say it

" vicky " i heard the bell go signeling class was about to start so i took of full speed to my class .

Marcus POV

today after basketball practice my whole body was hurting it was far from what i remember in high school i guess the coach was wright bou t" this wasnt no high school basketball " . i was on my way to footbal practice i was so happy that football practice was at night .

on my way to football practice i stop by the girls soccer practice . i was over ten minutes early for practice . i saw the girl that had a teribble atitude this morning . i gues she also plays soccer

Nicki POV

I looked at Zaria sitting right next to me and Emily . Stephanie felt sick so she didn't come practice . We were what you called benched for the whole practice and we where the best I looked over at the other bench on the opposite side of the field and saw Marcus sitting down there . I'm not going to hear the end of this .

" remind me why we're benched again " I said looking at the two of them

" I don't know but I'm sick of this crap " Zaria said getting up

" coach !! Coach !!! "

" what Zaria " couch didn't sound to happy

" why are your three best players benched while u work on your daughter with two left feet " okay Zaira a lil to far with that

" And don't you dear kick me of this team cause If I leave nicki and Emily leave to " why did this girl bring my name in this conversation

Me and Emily looked at the coach and Zaira who we're having a stare off .

" we are done for today " And with that the coach disappeared .

Every one picked op there stuff and was gone and I was beyond pissed .

" Zaira what were you thinking what if she really kicked us off the team " Me and Emily both looked at her

" I knew for a fact she wasn't going to kick us off the team maybe one but not all three"

" I guess you have a point but that doesn't make it " before I could finish my sentence I was interrupted

" How does it feel to be a bench warmer nic " I turned around and I couldn't help but to laugh

" u know what shut " I was cut off again

" I was just wondering u know I've never been benched being the best and what not " I just ignored him

" hey Zaira " I looked to see who was calling her and It was Vicky . She walked over here full speed and started to yell and Zaira . And it seemed like Zaira was just blocking her out .

" So you always mad at the world " Marcus said looking at her

" wait do you to know each. Other " I was beginning to get confused

" he is the dude that doesn't watch where he Is going and "

" and she is the bit".

" Marcus aren't you late for practice " I could see this was going down a bad road

We all said goodbye and went our separate ways
