"This is it (y/n)! We're actually here!" Samantha shrieked excitedly into my ear. "Like, I can't believe this is ACTUALLY HAPPENING!" Sam has been my best friend for like, ever, but even I can get a little irritated at her over-excited nature. All this, and we weren't even close to our destination yet. We just got out of the airport.
"I know, you've been saying that since we stepped onto the plane back at home." I told her, with a tinge of annoyance in my voice.
"Yeah, I know! I'm just SO EXCI-" I turned and gave her a sharp look with cold (e/c) eyes. "S-sorry. I'll shut up." She said timidly. That should keep her quiet for a good ten minutes. Hopefully...
Finally, we arrived at the famous super-long staircase leading to the entrance of Death Weapon Meister Academy, our new school. I'm the meister, Sam's the weapon. A dagger-axe to be exact. It's like...a combination of a spear and a dagger. Looks like an axe with a really long handle, actually.
"Samantha..." I say to my friend in awe.
"...Yeah?" My friend asked, about to explode with bottled up hope, excitement, and anticipation.
"Now you can be excited."
...I'll won't describe Sam's reaction, let's leave that to your imagination...you're welcome. Anyway, after we walked up the unnecessarily long staircase, we were greeted by two students.
"Hi! My name is Maka Albarn, meister. And this is my partner, Soul!"
"Hey. Welcome to DWMA!" Maka's partner replied.
