"Luke, help me carry these flowers please." Liz, Luke's mom shouted from downstairs.

Luke put his phone on the table; he was just texting Calum about the game for that night, he jogged down the stairs of the flower shop his mom owned and saw Jack; his older brother, talking to the flower supplier, Ben, which was his other older brother too, Ben didn't live with him at the flower shop, he lived with his father, Luke's father, in the other side of the town.

Luke's parents divorced when he was 16, it was hard for him knowing almost everyday he interacted with his father; Andrew, the one who took him to school and picked him up from school, play basketball together and such thing a son and father would do.

But he was moving on with life, if it was the right decision, then so be it, he still going to Andrew's house once in a while with Jack, they would talk about basketball and how was life.

His mom, Liz, was moving on too, she decided to open a flower shop, in the suburban area of San Francisco, working with her co-workers, her sons; Jack and Luke. Liz had a passion for flowers, she loved flowers very much, she said that flowers expressing our emotions and interest, Luke believed so much in that, like his mom, he adored the flowers, especially the daisies which has an expression for cheerfulness.

"Thank you so much, honey." Liz praised Luke after his last pick up.

"You're welcome, mom." Luke said well-mannered.

It was only 9 in a monday morning, no, he didn't go to school anymore, he graduated and choose to work with his mom at the flower shop which was his house too.

The first floor was for the shop and the second floor for the living and dining room also the kitchen, the third floor was for Liz, Jack, and Luke's room.

Luke went to the second floor to grab his phone, checking if there was any messages from Calum, but slipped his phone to the apron's pocket he was wearing when he saw nothing on his lock screen and got back to the lower ground floor.

"Yes, ok, baby's breathe, alright, see you at 1." Liz said to the phone before hanging up and walking to a bucket full of baby's breathe, picking up some and put them on the wrapping table.

Luke shrugged and went unwrapping the flowers from the newspapers and put them back neatly in to the buckets.

The door bell rang when Jack walked in to the shop, "Jack, you owe me a sour patch, remember?" Luke asked his older brother because he was craving for one at the moment.

"I do remember, I'll buy that later." Jack rolled his eyes and went upstairs.

"Yes you should." Luke shouted after Jack.

Luke helped his mom with the costumers that come and go, he loved his job and making someone happy exiting the shop was his goal.

Hours passed and Luke was eating his lunch behind the counter, his boss can't even mad at him for that. It was twelve near one in the afternoon, Jack came in and gave Luke a pack of sour patch.

"Thank you." Luke wiggled his eyebrows at his older brother.

"Yeah, I will put 5 packs in the refrigerator, don't act like you own them." Jack warned going to the stairs and he nodded, being the good brother he was and promising not to steal Jack's candy.

Luke finished his lunch and went upstairs to wash the dishes and came back to the shop to eat his candy.

A boy walked into the shop, with blue jeans jacket, black shirt underneath, black jeans and converse, his hair was a messy of perfect honey-blond locks, and face was expressionless as he walked to Liz, saying something.

Luke bit his lip, looking at the boy who was glancing around the room, until Luke looked away when his eyes met with the boy's hazel ones, Luke could tell from afar, even though the hazel eyes looked dull, the brightness from the lamp helped him figure it out.

Liz gave the boy his order which was a bouquet of baby's breathe that she had wrapped with the canvas.

"Have a nice day," Liz said and the boy smiled before turning his heels and walked out of the store, "He looks such a lovely boy." Liz continued looking at his son.

And cute, Luke thought, everyone in the family knew that Luke was gay, he came out to his family when he was 18, it had been two years and his family still accepting that.

Had been two years too, he had no boyfriend, though he didn't act like he was desperate, he had exes, three girls, but as the third ex came, they dated but he somewhat didn't feel right, he told Calum about that, Calum said that he might be gay, so Calum kissed Luke, Calum was straight at the time, the kiss didn't feel right too because, well, Luke just kissed his childhood best friend but he liked the kiss, having a boy's lips against his felt right.

"What's his name?" Luke asked his mom.

"Ashton."
