Lance smirked as he walked (y/n) through the hallways of the mansion Alura lived in. It was a nice, modern, white house in the valleys of the city. If you looked out the glamorous windows on the top floor you could see the whole city, or at least that's what she had been told. Lance put a hand on (y/n)'s shoulder and guided her through an open door.

"You can sleep here tonight, of course if you get lonely feel free to join me," he wiggled his eyebrows at her and smirked. She grinned at looked at the room with distant eyes. Lance frowned at the look in her eyes and squeezed her shoulder reassuringly, "things are going to work out, I promise," he half smiled and stepped towards the door. He watched her look around the room and struggled to think of what to say, "dinner should be in the kitchen when you get hungry." (Y/n) just nodded as Lance slowly closed the door, the look in the girl's eyes stuck in his own. She walked around the white wash room, almost afraid to touch the uncomfortably clean surfaces. She sighed and threw herself onto the bed, letting exhaustion consume her whole, as she kicked her shoes off and sunk deeper into the comforter. Her eyes closed and she let sleep take hold of her.

(Y/n) opened her eyes groggily and sat up, the sound of her stomach growling filled her ears. She walked out of the room and stumbled to the dimly lit kitchen. Her eyes fell on a plate wrapped in plastic and she quickly grabbed it and the fork beside it. As she began to walk back to the room as saw a yellow sticky note on the counter.

'You said you wanted Chinese, right? Anyway there's soda in the fridge so help yourself
-Lance'

She smiled at the note and walked back to the fridge, grabbing a cup off the counter beside it. As she took the cap off some 'organic' red juice bottle she heard the door to the room over open and light footsteps tip-toe into another room. She quickly disgaurded her food and followed the person into another room. She followed him through a door and peeked into the room, where she saw...nothing?
A hand slammed her aginst the door and caused her to stumble and let her reflexes take over. She grabbed her enemies arm and raked her nails down his skin, making him pull back. She ducked and darted around him, only for him to grab her ankle. She flicked the light switch as they both fell, hoping the sudden light would shock him enough to let her get away, or call for help. Her hand flew for his shoulder hoping to flip him, but she froze when she saw his face.

"Keith?" She mumbled as he blushed and sat up, almost straddling her.

"I'm so sorry I thought you might have been a galra or-" he began.

"It's fine, I'm fine," she said despite the ache in her left shoulder, "are you okay?" Her eyes drifted to the red marks on his arm and  three small pricks of blood beginning to surface on his paper white skin. He looked down at his arm and smirked.

"Just a scratch," he said and stood helping her up. She looked around the room and saw how dangerously close they were to a flight of stairs.

"Where were you going?" She asked and looked back up at him.

"I got some bullet holes in the side of the car, so I was going to park it somewhere more convenient for Coran," he said and rubbed his head awkwardly.

"Weelllll....I guess I'll leave you to it," she said and began to walk out of the room, tripping over the doorframe. She fake laughed and walked back to the kitchen, beet red.

(Y/n) pulled her hoodie closer to herself as she stood in front of her would be- should be tattoo parlor. Lance rolled up the sleeves of his jacket and walked through the door of the shop, allowing her to follow. She grabbed a broom and began sweeping up the smaller pieces as Lance picked up the bigger ones.

"So where is everyone else?" She asked and dumped some glass in the trash can, beside her old desk.

"Alura and Coran are at the house, she can't go out casually or what happened yesterday happened," he picked up an especially large piece of glass that wouldn't fit in the trash, "Coran is fixing Keith's car," (y/n) grabbed the piece and put it in another bin near Tha back of the store, allowing Lance to continue, "Pidge and Hunk are looking for cheep materials for the shop, like glass 'n stuff, and Shiro is doing something for Alura, I think he's taking care of some galra stuff," he frowned as he traced his hand along a jagged piece of glass that managed to stick to the frame.

"What about Keith?" She asked casually, definitely not thinking about last night, but her eyes darted towards Lance as the glass in front of him shattered.

"He's with Shiro," he mumbled and she walked over to the glass and swept it up as Lance picked up some of the sketches on the floor. He held a familiar sketch in his hands and studied it, "Did you draw this?"

She walked over to him and leaned in his back looking at the drawing, "yep, but it was from when I had just started...this," her hand waved around the room and she looked back at the drawing, "it's a nice tattoo though, very geometric." Of course, Lance barely heard anything she said. He was focused on the heat of her body against his and the warmth of her breath tickling his ears.

"Yeah," he mumbled and stood. (Y/n) stood as well and took a step back, "so what next?"

"No idea," she said honestly and looked back at the, now, purple and black walls. "I guess we should get the paint off of the walls, but that means going to the store, and we have no cash, sooo"

"I'll call Shiro," Lance said and walked out of the store.

"She's very pretty, I don't blame you," Shiro smiled and shifted gears as he got back onto the highway.

"Wait you don't-" Keith said, almost hitting his head on the roof of the small car as he sat up.

"NO, no, no, No," he said and looked at his companion through his rear view morror, "I mean she's good lookin, but not my type."

"Right," Keith rolled his eyes as images of Shiro and Alura flashed through his head. They watched the landscape change from grassy patches to dusty wasteland in silence. Shiro pulled out his phone and raised an eyebrow at Lance's contact photo. It showed him at a bar with his arms around two girls hips. They were clearly annoyed but Lance is very dense. He slid his finger along the side of his phone and held it to his ear.

'Hey, how do you get graffiti off of brick wall?'

'Uh-powerwasher?' Shiro laughed into his phone and Keith gave him a strange look from the back seat.

'Where the hell am I supposed to get that?!'

'There should be one back at the mansion, meet us there,'

'Okay, should we pick up lunch?'

'No, it's only ten, and I think Hunk is cooking'

'If I have to eat another tofu burger I'm going to die'

'Don't be dramatic, we should be there in fifteen minutes' This time Shiro and Keith rolled their eyes.

'K bye,' Lance hung up and Shiro looked at his phone.

"Bye," he mumbled and put it back in his pocket, "Lance and (y/n) are going to power wash the wall." Keith smirked and sat back in his seat.

"Hey, Shiro," he said, not waiting for a response, "do you think Lance..."

"Has feelings for (y/n)? I don't know. You've known him longer and he always flirts," Shiro said as he watched the buildings by him roll by. Keith just hummed a response and looked out the window. Letting silence consume the car once again.
