"Guys get ready! Show in 30 minutes." Adam, our tour manager warned.

“First show of warped tour!”I squealed in excitement."I got a feeling this is going to be the best warped tour so far."

"You're always so excited about warped tour aren't you Alan?"Austin said.

"Yes I just love what I do."

"Did you have a chance to meet our supporting band?"

"Nan, are they good?"

“Yeah, they are, one of the member's is totally hot. She has brown hair, big blue eyes. She’s covered in tattoos and has piercings. She’s your type man.”

“Fuck she seems really hot. Can’t wait to meet her.”

“Yeah, but you know Adam, he’ll never let us date her.

I grabbed my guitar and started playing. I always loved the ambiance at warped tour. Everyone just seems so happy. God, I love what I do. Next song was let live. I always loved to play that song but...it was our last song of our set. I really missed playing. I haven’t touched my guitar in weeks. After finishing the song, I got off stage and went to see the supporting band.

“Hey I’m Alan”

“Austin”

“Aaron”

“Phil”

“Valentino and were Of Mice & Men”

“Nice to meet you guys, I’m Cole.”

“Matty”

“Jennifer”

“euhm....hi I’m Ashley. But most people call me Ash.And were Intoxicated”

Ash started giggling. By then, she was blushing like crazy. God she was really adorable when she blushed and giggled. I mentally slapped myself. I cannot even date her because Adam will never let me.

“Anyways....we got to go on stage now.”

She started running towards the stage and the rest of her band followed her. She stopped in front of the mic and was holding a bass in her hands. She smiled at the crowd. The crowd only screamed louder. Jennifer was behind another mic, Cole was holding a guitar and Matty was behind a set of drums. Jennifer started singing softly. And then the beat got faster and Ashley started screaming in the mic. Dang can that girl scream. I mentally slapped myself again. Alan do not fall for this girl. By the end of the song, I think our whole band’s jaw was touching the floor. They were really good and Ashley could really scream.

“Wow you guys were great”

“Thanks" the whole Intoxicated band said in unison.

“Who’s up for a party?”I offered.

Everyone said yes to my offer except the one person I really wanted to come, Ashley.

“No I can’t come. “she said.

“Why not Ash?”

“I just don’t like parties that much.”

She was looking at the floor rather than my eyes. Something about her really intrigued me. But I decided to leave her alone.

“Ok, just come at our bus if you change your mind”

“Yeah sure”

I didn’t want to go at the party. I used to like parties until the day my boyfriend, Trevor cheated on me. We went to this party together and with my friend. We were pretty drunk. Me and my friend went to the bathroom. When we came out, Trevor wasn’t where we left him. I started to panic. I looked everywhere. Then, I saw him making out with this blond girl. Ever since, I have been avoiding parties. Cole is the only one who knows the full story. I am close with him. He’s my best friend. He’s always been there for me.

I didn’t realize I was crying by then until someone took me in there arms.

“Hush hush, what’s the matter Ash?

I didn’t recognize the person. I looked up and saw Alan with a worried look on his face. By then, I was sobbing in Alan’s chest. He brought me to my bunk and sat beside me. I liked how Alan didn’t asked so many question like other people would.

“It’s just 3 months ago, my ex boyfriend Trevor cheated on me at a party.”

“I’m so sorry Ash, I didn’t know”

I was trembling. I wasn’t cold though. I was sad. I was a sad person.I was a weak person to let this affect me this much.

“Hush, it’s okay Ashley. I’m here now. He’ll never hurt you ever again”

“Promise?”

“Pinkie promise”

Neither of us said another word, but the silence wasn’t incomfortable.There was something about Alan that made me feel safe.

“Alan?”

“Yes.”

“Can you stay with me, for the night?”

“Of course”

He took his shoes off and cuddled me close to him.

“Thanks for being here for me”
