M's POV

Alex sighed and put her head in her hands.

"how can I be so dumb. I shouldn't have argued with him. I shouldn't have said any of that. I swear if anything happens to him I'm-" she was cut off by the phone ringing.

We all looked at each other until Wes got up and answered it. "hello?"

Wes's POV

"hello?"

"yes is this the Chadwick Residence?"

"yes who is this?"

"I'm Breanna, but may I ask who is this?"

"I'm Wes."

"A family member of Drew?"

"No his best friend."

"may I speak to a family member?"

"Yeah yeah of course um hold on." I covered the phone and called for M since Alex isn't in the mood. "M someone's on the phone."

I handed over to her and she started crying. Wait why is she crying!!!!

M's POV

"hello?" I said uneasy of why someone would call at this time.

"yes are you a family member of Drew?"

"yes I'm his cousin."

"Well, I'm in the Huntington Beach Hospital, because Drew ha-"

I cut her off, "what, what no what happened to him!" I was crying already. Tear after tear, Keats came running from the living room, worried was the only emotion his face showed.

"umm..... Well I advice you to come. He is in surgery at this moment."

"okay *sob* we will *sob* be right there*sob*" I ended the call right there.

"Babe, what happened why are you crying?" Keats said while hugging me tightly obviously worried.

"what happened to Drew?" Wes said before I could answer I cried even harder.

"He- he's in the *sob* hospital *sob* he's in surgery!"

"WHAT!!!!!" they all said at the same time. Alex began crying her eyes out. I have never seen her like this no one has. She always puts up this big tough act. I think she does it so people won't think that she's weak. She's not. She's tough.

If I wouldn't have been so emotional I would've smirked when Wes hugged Alex so tight, he looked like he didn't want to let her go. I don't think she wanted to let go. it was the same with me and Keats both of us crying our eyes out. I really hope that he's okay.

--------At the hospital--------

Entering the doors I was shaking. I was worried. I did't know why he was in here but I'm scared since he was in surgery.

"hey uh we are here because we heard about our friend and their family members." Wes said.

A young nice looking lady came to Wes's side and said,"hi I'm Breanna Crews I was the one that called you."

I ran up to her, "what happened to him? Why is he in surgery? Is he going to be okay? How long will it tak-" I was cut off by Keats.

"babe calm down. She will tell you."I knew he was right. I was asking to many questions but hey I worry a lot.

"Okay well Drew was in an accident luckily I was passing by and was able to help him."

"how did it happen?" Alex ask finally speaking. She has been quite after we left the house.
