Drew POV

The entire ride home Alex and M kept shooting each other curious glances. Sometimes M would nod and Alex would sigh. I swear these girls can read each others minds. Wes was quiet the entire time. As for me, well I was debating weather I should tell the girls about the buisness or not.

Knowing Alex she'll start asking questions and M will back her up. Wes is the only one that knows. I can't tell Keaton, the kid's innocent. I sighed. The girls gave me confused looks but I ignored them. Wes probably knew what I was thinking because he gave me a small smile. I made my decision.

I pulled into the drive way and we all got out. I unlocked the door, Keats went to the fridge and Wes went to the living room. Alex turned to me.

"hey Drew what did-" I cut her off.

"KEATON LIVING ROOM NOW!! you too girls." they sighed but nodded.

"why I'm hungry!?" I heard him yell back.

"then take your snacks to the living room! I need to tell you guys something important."

"okay." I went to the living room and saw they were all in there already. I sighed.

"Drew can I ask you something?" I shook my head at Alex.

"what I'm about to tell you guys may answer your question. Only Wes knows what's going on." Alex and M looked at each other confused and worried.

"is everything okay?" I sighed but didn't say anything.

"Alex come sit with me." Alex looked at Wes and nodded still confused. Keats went to sit by M. I didn't want to sit while I told them the story so I stayed standing.

"okay what I'm about to tell you may be shocking. Alex you'll probably get mad but-"

"Oh God am I adopted!?" she looked scared. I shook my head.

"no baby sis you aren't."

"Alex babe shh. You aren't adopted. But this is important." Wes said comforting her since she jumped to conclusions. She sighed in relief and nodded for me to go on. I sighed,

"okay here's the thing..."

12 years ago, I was walking home from a friends house. When my mom called me.

"Sweetie, I need you to come home quickly." she sounded scared. Why what could happen to me. But I did as told.

"I'm on my way already. I'll be there in 10." I said then hang up and started running home. My mom barely gets worried or scared to say the least.

When I got home there were 4 black dark vans outside the house. Getting to the front door there was 2 huge, strong man protecting it. Okay now I'm scared.

I walked in hearing voices. "we have to tell him now. They are after them. I don't want my little babies to get hurt." my mom kept arguing with my dad until I walked in to their sight.

"Son, I'm happy to see you're okay. We need you to get your things cuz you and Alex will be going to stay with your grandfather in Cali." my father said with so much seriousness, it scared me.

"What!? Noo!! I won't, Alex is barely 4. She wouldn't want this."

"Listen Drew we have to tell you something important. We are part of the mafia. We aren't only known here but also all over the US. There are other business's like ours that want full power. You see we are the highest, most respected people. They are after you guys in order to make us turn in our position. So we will be sending you off until you are of age to take my position. Your grandfather will help you." wait what!? Back up a bit, he's in the mafia......

Once I finished Alex got up. She was shaking with fear and anger. I swear there was fire in her eyes.

"You've got to be kidding me. Dad can't be in the mafia. There's no way that's true. Tell us the real reason why!? Why lie to us!?"

"Alex he's not lying to you. I found out around the time M came to stay over here as well. They sent her here for the same reason. She was suppose to leave with Mason but she wanted to be here instead." M looked at Wes.

"That's why I was sent away? Why would they be looking for me? I'm just a relative." M asked confused.

"Because your parents are the second biggest business. Our fathers work together. That's why we have this much of everything."

"Okay I need some air." Alex said making her way to the stairs.

"Alex they were just trying to protect you and M from everythi-" I was cut off by the door being thrown down.

6 huge man in dark suits came in with guns. Alex tried escaping but one of the men got her before she could. Wes got up in a hurry and went to her.

"Keats take M to safety. Make sure she's safe and call both our parents of what's happening." Keats nodded and took her upstairs. She had tears in her eyes. I mouthed "I love you." she did the same and went upstairs. Luckily they didn't see neither one of them so I know they're safe.

Wes was fighting off two guys trying to get to Alex who was being carried away slowly. She tried fighting them off but it was no use. They were to strong for either one of us. There was six of them and three of us. I went to some other guys when one got me on a hold I couldn't get out of.

"Hey kid." Wes turned around.

"You move and we shoot, both your friend and girlfriend." that's when I felt something on the side of my head.

"No please no." I turned and I saw a gun placed by her forehead. Ohh no!

"don't shoot her!" the guy hit me with the gun and I groaned.

"let go of them." I heard Wes say.

"look kid you want them to live I suggest you stay quiet." I looked at Wes, giving him facial expressions not to move or say anything. He stopped and they took me and Alex away.

They put us in a black van, tied our hands and feet, and blind folded us. Then someone spoke.

"It was hard finding you two. It's been 12 years and we have finally found you."
