I walk towards my, red Toyota. Its a pretty old car but I never complain, its the only car i can afford.

I look to my left all the kids are fleeing the school building excitedly. My car chirps and i open the drivers seat door. Then i hear laughter, my eyes dart behind me.

"James..." I sigh in dispare, Me and him were in the same major. I was in math education, though it wasn't my choice. My mother and father never went to college so they were counting on me to make a living and be successful or be educated. And im pretty sure they wanted me to take care of their taxes once they were old and in need of finacial aid.

For a slight moment, i saw him glance at me and smile. It made me tingle, and despite myself smiled and waved at him. I was always so shy, and I was really supprised at my reaction towards him.

He turned back to his friends and continued to walk towards a navy blue Mazda, it wasnt flashy but it was better then my car.

"You have a problem" A voice tittered behind me

"Do not" i replied lazily getting in my car, it was Marry she was a close friend of mine. She was a culinary major and her classes started one hour before my and ran for one hour longer. So we got to see each other after our classes.

" Its pathetic to drool over a boy, when your not going to do anything about it" Marry gave me a dramatic pose, sarcasm was one of her most annoying traits.

"Im not drooling, plus i did do something about it" i reply with a victory chant ringing in my head, I felt proud. That feeling was crushed when she asked what i did and i replied. "I waved at him"

She pushed the drivers seat banging my leg under the stearing wheel, good thing we wern't driving.

"And this is why your going to end up alone" she sighed in disappointment. The car ride was pretty quiet, the radio filled the car with pop music. It was my taste but, Marry seemed way to obsessed with "Let me Love you" and continued to sing it with her horrible voice. Which almots made me laugh to death.

We lived in the same apartment building, mostly cause its the cheapest and closest to campus. James lived there too. But he wasnt around since his roomates were a living hell, I live next door to him. And i charrish that but, his roomates always keep me up at night. Mostly with their adorable dog named snoopy, but a lot of the time it was random fights.

I park into parking space 'G', Marry jumps out the car and stands there inpatient waiting for me to get out too. I push the car door shut and my car chirps again. Indicating that it had turned off.

I begin to hear laughter again, James...

Marry squeels in delight

" James has really cute friends" she giggles.

"Oh shut up" I reply chuckling.

I turn around then i see James, standing right infront of me.

"Hey" he says bashfully rubbing his head nervously, he stuck out his hand and a letter perched onto of his palm. "I was looking through my mailbox and found this, the mailman must of mistaken mine for yours" he chuckled, i smiled slightly

"Thanks J-jacob?" I say, i wasn't playing cool i just messed up. But played it off as if I was sincerly asking him.

"Its James" he slightly blushes

"S-Sorry!" I say quickly i hide my lips between the words.

"Its ok, anyways here you go" He hands me the letter, and for a split second our fingers touch. His hands were warm. I take the letter my cheaks flushed.

"I'll see you around" James jogs up the stairs catching up with his friends who was looking at the hole senario.

I hear a clap and see marry in shock, "Way to play it cool" she laughs, I trip her over and she laughs even more, but it wasn't at me it was with me. I was also dieing from laughter.
