Getting To Know You

I look over at James,

"Do you think they settled down yet-" As my sentence ended i heard a smashed plate and then a crack bursted in my wall. James eyes widened i turned red, not from shyness but from anger.

"Oh come on! Im gonna go kill those bastards-" My sentence was interupted again as Janes grabbed me, desperatly trying to calm me down.

"Heheh.. sorry ill pay for it" James said apologeticly,
"Huh? W-why? You didnt do it" i was so nervous he was still holding my hand!!!
"Its what happens im the only one that doesnt spend all his money, so its basic logic that i would pay."

He let go of my hand, but he seemed like he was resisting. But resisting what?

"Im so sorry" He looked at me confused as if what i said had not made any sense at all.

"Why are you apologising? My roomates were the ones who broke the wall" He says seriously , i start waving my arms in front of me rapidly inisiating that wasnt what i ment.

" I mean im sorry you have to live with them..." He laughs at my sincereness.

"Hey they arent that bad, i mean , they could be better but, Hey! What can i do about it?"

He sits back down twiddling with his thumbs.
"Hey" i say as i sit down next to him. "If it gets uncontrolable  then you can come here again"

He blushed, wait... Did he take it the wrong way!?!!

"NOT LIKE THAT, I-MENT-YOU-COULD-STAY-HERE-WHEN-IT-GETS-TOUGH-YOU-JUST-HAVE -TO-KNOCK-AND-ILL-LET-YOU-IN-BUT-NOT-AT-ALL-IN-A-SEXUAL-WAY-PROMISE!"

He laughed, "Darn," Darn what?

"Thanks," He smiled, "For everything".

The noise nextdoor calmed down, I did aswell. We said our goodbyes and he left, I ran to my bed and hid under the covers look at my hand. He.. he touched it, physically touched it, and he might come here again! I feel asleep with a smile across my face. It was so obvious.

That I loved James.

(Sorry for the short chapter, I wanted to get it out fast, plus a cliff hanger. But i had some problems with the previous chapter which was called "I want to know more" but that didnt save so i wrote a new one but i didnt like it so it took a while.)
