Sneak Peak:
The Doctor heard her cry.
By the time he turned around, it was too late.
"NO! LUCY!" The Doctor yelled, and started running towards her.
It took only a matter of seconds. The Doctor, only a few feet away, watched as the creature struck Lucy.
It seemed like everything was in slow motion.
The Doctor watched in horror, as Lucy fell to the ground.
The Doctor kneeled down next to her.
"No. Please don't leave me." The Doctor whispered as tears started running down his cheeks. Lucy's eyes looked up at his. She shakenly stroked away a tear.
"I will always love you, MY doctor." She whispered hoarsely. The Doctor's tears fell on her forehead as she breathed her last breath.
The Doctor rocked her limp body back and forth, sobbing in her hair.
"I love you too, my dear Lucy." The Doctor whispered in her ear.
Nobody said a word.
Nobody noticed.
As a sad man sobbed.
In the middle of a grass field.
For, there was none.
To notice the man sobbing in a girl's ear.
Because that was the day.
The Death Day.
