Forever and Always [Doctor Who Fanfic]

Chapter Four

Lucy groaned as she got up from her fall.

"Okay guys seriously. When the Earth opens up, and causes you to fall, make sure you have a mattress or something. Falling on dirt is not a pillow. Am I right Rosalinda?" Lucy said. "Rosalinda?" She turned in a whole circle. "Well, where the heck did she go? Hopefully she didn't start exploring. When ever you start nancy drewing, you always get kidnapped or killed." Said Lucy as she started to walk. She seemed to be in a cave of some sort. She was walking when she said something move in the shadows. She stopped and stared into the shadows for a second.

"AHAHA no. I am not going to go look over there. I have seen horror shows on the Telly." Lucy said and kept walking. Suddenly, something fell into the path in front of her. "Oh, you got to be kidding. Now's its in my way, so I have to go see what it is." Lucy groaned and walked over to see what it was.

"Oh my god!" Lucy screamed. It was a man. He appeared to be unconcious. He had dark blonde hair, and was thin, but yet he was incredibly muscular. "Please don't be dead." She said as she felt him for a pulse. She felt his heart beat and smiled. Suddenly, she heard talking come from up ahead. Panic flew to Lucy's mind, and she did what she thought was the smartest. She dragged the man back into the shadows. She watched as two creatures walked in the path she was on a minute ago.

Lucy got closer to hear their conversation.

"Master will be very pleasssed to hear we caught twoo." hissed one of the creatures.

"He will reward us greatly." Said the other one. The two creatures soon got to where Lucy had fallen.

"Where is she?" Asked the first one.

"Master will be very displeased. We must go find her." said the second. They things quickly spilt up and ran to go find Lucy. Suddenly, she heard groaning come from behind her. The man was waking up! She quickly scrambled over to him and put her hand on his mouth.

"Shh." Lucy whispered. "I'm not here to hurt you. I just need you to speak very quietly." She took her hand off his mouth.

"Who are you?" He whispered.

"My name is Lucille Watson. I'm called Lucy. Who are you?"

"Lewis Nye." Lewis said. "I've been here for around two weeks. The creatures you are seeing eat the people they kidnap."

"How did you get away?" Lucy curiously asked.

"As soon as I hit the ground, I took off running." Lewis said. "We should probably keep going, so we don't get caught." He quickly got up and helped Lucy up too. They started walking in the shadows.

"Lewis?"

"Yeah?"

"If you've been here for two weeks? How have you eaten?"

"I eat what I can. Usually, its just plants growing here."

Meanwhile, the Doctor was getting quite worried. He had no idea how to save Lucy. For all he could know, she could be being eaten right now, or worse. He just stood there, where he watched as Lucy jumped into the hole.

Suddenly, he had a brilliant idea. He could use the Tardis to go where Lucy had fallen! He knew the Tardis was almost a mile away, so he used his favorite trick. The Doctor took out his sonic screwdriver and called the Tardis. A few moments later, he heard the familiar sound of always leaving the brakes on. The Doctor ran outside and ran into the Tardis. He walked to the center, stroking his beloved machine.

"Okay, look. I know you tend to take me where I need to go, not where I want to go, but just this once, I need you to go against your ways. I need to rescue Lucy. She's only been on the Tardis for a short while, only a month! So, if you mind, just this once my love, to take me where I want to go?" The Doctor asked. The Tardis hummed in reply, and started up her machines.
