we walked home together in awkward silence, and just like he said, he lived right next to my apartment. the week went on, and we avoided eachother as much as possible. we walked past each other like we didn't know one another. our friends often told us that we look cute together and that we should date, disregarding the fact we had only been seen together during work when neccessary.
"GUESS WHAT HYORI."
"what-" i didn't even get to finish my word when minji cut me off.
"I SET YOU UP ON A DATE."
"oooo." i had been looking for a suitable partner after living for so many years alone. "is he kyutte." i lowkey asked.
"very. no, no-" wait what?
"no?" i asked.
"he's not cute, he's hotttt." this grabbed my attention.
"show me a picture!" i whined, my curiosity growing.
"no, its a blinddd date. B L I N D." this chick gotta be kidding. she continued to admiringly stare at the picture of him. i tried to snatch it off her, but she is too quick for me.
"ok. fine, when is it?" i gave in.
"tomorrow night. 7PM sharp at ______" minji winked at me. "you owe me one hyori."
"fine, ill buy you lunch tomorrow then." i said
"deal."
"ok gotta finish off my shift, ill text you tomorrow. thanks girl."
i headed back to work and finished off the day. i caught the bus, and felt empty when i didn't see taehyung. i wonder where he is.
