AU: Caskett already married, Alexis is only 10 and pizza is delicious.

Captain Katherine Beckett slowly drew her gun up to the intruder that was standing in her living room, "Drop the knife or I blow your head off." She warned. The thief slowly dropped the knife in his hands, "Now turn around." She ordered. 

 thief slowly twisted his body so that he was facing her. He began to lift his hands in the air, Kate cocked her gun back and stopped him in his tracks. "Don't even think about it." She slowly walked up to him and took his hands down behind his back and cuffed him.

 Seconds later the lights came on and clapping was heard, "Good job Beckett, you showed them how to properly handle intruders." Chief Stone clapped. 

"Yea Beckett now un-cuff me." Ryan whined jiggling his hands. Kate smirked and observed the key in her hand, "Hmm, I don't know." Ryan moaned and bounced on his heels, "Beckett they hurt." 

It was pure poetry, she twisted they key into the cuffs catching them when they dropped into her hands after Ryan was free. Stone shook his head, "Now maybe you should say a few words before heading off." Stone suggested. 

Kate nodded and clipped her gun in it's holster. "Sure just talking to a group of teenagers, no big deal." She gritted through her teeth. "Al right guys any more questions before Captain Beckett goes?" Stone asked, hands flew into the air. Minutes after answering questions that were mostly about her gun Kate made her way out of the school and took a deep breath. 

Ryan was waiting for her at her car when she walked up. "Hey captain, ready?" Kate nodded and slid into the driver's seat. "Yea, thanks for your help by the way." "No problem, just make sure you bring us extra lunch today." He shrugged, Kate laughed and started engine. 

She went home happy that night, they had an open and shut case, resulting in her letting her detectives go home early. Rick had been gone for 2 weeks, on a book tour that Kate had been dreading when she heard about it. 

He had promised he would take her on a overdue date night when he got back. Kate slipped out of her shoes, leaving them at the front door. She slipped her coat off and placed it on the hook. Kate looked around, hoping to find her Mother in law and daughter.

 "Martha? Alexis?" A 10 year old's squeal went throughout the loft, Alexis came running down the stairs followed by Rick dressed up in a storm troopers outfit. "Ahhh Intergalactic space alien run!" Alexis screamed, running behind Kate's legs. "Mommy save us.", the 10 year old hugged her legs. 

Kate giggled and pressed the back of her hand to her mouth. Rick lifted his lightsaber and pointed it at the duo, "You are doomed." Kate chuckled and scooped Alexis up. "Looks like Obi Wan is about to get us young one, we must fight back." "Attack!" Rick was quick enough to catch Alexis as she jumped at him. 

Rick tickled the red head,"Ahh, trader!" Alexis gasped and squealed, squirming in his arms. "Noooo I surrender." She got out. Rick smirked and took his mask off, "Aha! Point for dad." he smirked. Kate watched in amusement the whole time, "You guys are crazy." she teased.
