Chapter 1

~ .: Chapter One, Blood, Guts, and... a Girl? :. ~

Tom, Matt, and Edd sat on the couch in their living room quietly. "Guys! I'm bored!" Matt whined, Tom sighed as he glanced over at his ginger friend. "Well, there is nothing to do, We can't go out anywhere since we have no money so.."  Tom grunted, Matt and Edd sighed. Edd grabbed the T.v remote and turned on the T.v and to the news, It showed monsters running around town. The three squealed in excitement, "Warning! Monsters are invading downtown! Everyone stay inside at all costs until further notice!" The news lady said, "Oh that explains the noises outside" Edd said, he looked at the window to see huge explosions and gun noises echo from the town. The three friends smiled and ran outside, Tom having a gun out of nowhere, and Edd with a random sword.

The three looked out over a sea of monster wreaking the city, Groans and grumbles echoed the area. "Ok guys lets kill!" Tom chuckled as he started to shoot some monsters, Edd and Matt cheered and jumped into the sea of monsters with battle cries. Edd started swinging his sword like crazy, hearing the slicing of the monsters made him smile as evil as it sounds. Edd quickly stopped at a yelp of pain though, he looked in front of him to see a girl around his age with a huge gash on her arm. She snarled at him as she turned away, he noticed she held a katana as well with some blood running off of it. He began to swing again becoming more away of who he was slicing until all the monsters were on the ground. "Aw Yeah!" Matt cheered as the three walked up to each other, Tom dusted off his gun. Edd smiled, but quickly jerked his head, seeing something out of the corner of his eye. The girl he sliced was sitting down trying to find something to wrap up the bad gash, She took in a sharp breath as she dumped some water on the blood cut. "Hey, We should see if she is alright you two" Edd said, pointing to the girl. "Eh, I'm sure she is fine~ let's just head back home.." Tom said, starting to walk back home. Matt grabbed his hood and pulled him back "Yeah! Let's go!" He chirped, Tom sighed.

~ .: Y/n's POV :. ~

Y/n groaned as she finally finished off the monsters, She sighed as she looked at her bloody Katana. It shined with the red substance, she dropped down and glanced at her gash on her arm. "It looks deep.." Y/n thought to herself as she ran her fingers on the sides of the cut before looking around. She spotted a bottle of water on the ground, muddy and bloody. "That looks fine.." She thought as she slowly stood up and walked over to it, she grabbed it and walked back where her katana laid. Y/n sat back down and opened the water bottle, she took a breath before pouring the water of her cut. She took in a large sharp breath as she shut her eyes hard, once she felt no more water pouring on her skin and threw the bottle behind her. She looked around once again to see the group of guys about her age looking down at her, one of them was the guy who cut her. "H-hey, um... Sorry for cutting you. I didn't think anyone else would come out to fight monsters" The guy in the green said. Y/n grunted as she grabbed her Katana and stood up, "It's fine. I didn't expect that either, what is your names?" She asked holding her arm tightly. "Well I'm Edd, that is Matt, and that is Tom" Edd said, Y/n nodded. "Huh, well my name is Y/n" She smirked as she held out her bloody hand.

Edd shook it gladly "So Y/n, do you fight often?" Tom asked, Y/n ripped a sleeve of her sweater and wrapped it around the cut. "Nah, I'm pretty new to this. I saved up all my money for this katana" Y/n said, she tied the sleeve and connected eye contact again with the group. "Where do you live?" Matt asked, "Well I just met you guys, it would be stupid to give out where my house is" Y/n chuckled with sarcasm. "I live in a small old apartment, it's a bit out of town" Y/n said, Edd frowned. "I think I know where that is, you really sleep and eat there? I can't even stand to be there for 5 minutes it stinks so badly" Edd said, Y/n laughed. "Well being low on money makes everything different I guess" Y/n grunted. She stood up and rested her katana on her shoulder, "Talking about my home, I better get going" Y/n hummed, She smiled and quickly pasted a piece of paper to Matt and ran. "WAIT, SO YOU HAVE MONEY FOR A PHONE AND A KATANA BUT NOT A GOOD HOUSE?!?" Edd shouted to her, "WHO SAID I BOUGHT THE PHONE?!?" Y/n shouted back not even turning her head. Tom chuckled "I like her" He mumbled, "Well of course you do Tom, she kills things and steals everything!" Matt squealed, the three started to walk off back to their home as well.

Y/n came to a small jog, as she looked behind her, Edd, Matt, and Tom were out of sight. Y/n smiled "That went better than planned~" She hummed with a smirk. The girl looked around, "Looks like someone took a bad turn~" A rusty voice said. Y/n yelped and turned around to see a gang of men, the one smirked. "Hows about we show you the right way out doll?" He asked, Y/n growled and turned away. One of the guys grabbed her shoulder, only to get cut in the face. "You little bitch" He cursed as he took a step back, Y/n held her katana tightly as she looked around. Three more men tried to grab her, until more piled on her. "Get Off!" Y/n screamed, the leader chuckled "In your pretty little dr-" A gunshot cut him short and he fell to the ground. More gunshots occurred until Y/n was buried under a pile of limp dead bodies. She grunted as she kicked one off of her, only to kick something else too. "Ouch! I trying to help!" A voice yelled, "Sorry then..." Y/n grumbled. Soon she could see three men, all three wearing name tags. "There!" Paul said proudly, "Good, you looked like you needed a hand there, friend" Apparently Tord said. "I was fine." Y/n said bluntly as she stood up, turns out her ripped sleeve fell off. Y/n glanced to see dirt and some pebbles in her cut. "We can help that" Tord stated, Y/n glared at him with cold eyes "How to I know you guys won't rape me or kill me?" Y/n growled. "Look, As much as we would 'love' too. We won't, you look like a good soldier" Patryk said proudly, yet Tord gave him a glare. "Partly, just because I think it would be rude not too" Tord said, "Come. We can talk about it at the base" He said turning. Y/n hesitantly got up holding her arm, she started to walk with him. Just then a helicopter landed in front of them, with a large M on it. "It's so quiet.." Y/n thought as Tord, Paul, Patryk, and her got on. "So, how did you get the cut?" Paul asked, Y/n shrugged "Fighting monsters, But some guy cut me on accident. I think his name was Edd.." Y/n said. Tord tensed up, Patryk seemed to take notice "Um... So by the way! What is your name?" Patryk changed the subject quickly. "Y/n" The girl stated, She looked out of the window to see the town. "You're.. going to fly me back... Right?" Y/n asked Tord, He nodded but didn't take a glance. "Did I say something wrong..?" Y/n thought as she glanced out of the window again.

The helicopter soon landed on a landing pad, it was on top of a large town. Y/n fell asleep already, the seats were more comfy than anything she ever felt. "Paul and Patryk. Carry our guest to the nurse" Tord said, the two nodded

"Yes Red leader"
