We headed back to the manor after I wiped the memories of the family that was attacked. They knew what I looked like and who I was. If they still had their memories of the event, what was to stop them from going to the authorities? This was the best thing for everyone.

I walked into the manor with Sebastian and Ciel. Everyone else was asleep, which was a good thing because I was covered in blood after getting stabbed. I looked down at the wound, glad to see it had completely healed already.

Sebastian got Ciel ready for bed. I made a beeline for my washroom but was stopped when Sebastian appeared in front of me.

"Allow me to help you, Kitten," he offered.

I shook my head, "That's very gracious of you Sebastian, but it has been a very long day."

"Are you already breaking our contract?"

The contract. After all the excitement in the day, I had completely forgot about it. "My apologies."

"Follow me Kitten. From now on you will be residing in my room."

I had to obey him. Right now I would like nothing else but to be alone, but now I am not really allowed to be alone anymore. I do not control my life anymore, Sebastian does.

He led me to the other side of the mansion. The west wing was for the family and guests, and the east was for the servants. He opened the door to a room and we stepped inside. It was simple. A queen sized bed with a black duvet, and a black armoire. Another door led to the washroom. I peeled off my blood soaked sweater and shorts. Once completely stripped I stepped into the warm water Sebastian had prepared. I was embarrassed to be seen naked in front of him because I have not known him for too long.

"Don't be embarrassed, Emuishere," he murmured into my ear. "You are beautiful."

I blushed from the compliment, "Emuishere, hm? I reckon you say that because you learned my previous name was Hebony. It looks as if you know the era in which I was born."

"I was born during the time of the Egyptian Empire. It was still a new empire, and I remember how my father would make deals with so many nobles. It seems that was not enough for him. After a century, he began turning the wives of nobles into demons."

Sebastian massaged soap into my hair. I closed my eyes at the sensation and began to feel calm. The bath water became red as the blood was washed from my hair and body. Once done bathing, I dried off and accepted a nightgown Sebastian handed me. I climbed into the comfortable bed and yawned.

"I would not known you were a demon if I did not see you eating the man's soul those few weeks ago. You really do act like a human most of the time," Sebastian chuckled.

"In this world, we ought to act like humans so they don't figure us out. I guess I get into the role more than others," I replied.

He lied down next to me and snaked an arm around my waist. I froze at the contact. Sebastian pulled me closer to his chest.

"Sleep, Emuishere," he whispered.

And so I did.

The next morning I woke up alone. On the edge of the bed was a dark purple pinafore dress and a white apron to go with it. I slipped them on and put on white stockings and brown ankle boots. When I finished getting ready I brushed out my hair and went down to the kitchen where Sebastian was making tea.

"Hard to believe the young master's favorite tea is still Earl Grey," I remark.

Sebastian nodded his head, "He requests this tea frequently. Please take this up to him, along with this letter."
