2.0 His Maid, Heartbroken

"F-five years?" Y/n stutters and steps back, trying to register Sebastian's words. 

Sebastian steps forward and places his hand in hers. "You fought Angela with all your strength. There was a big explosion once you killed her. Ciel and I came back to find your...body, but once we arrived you were nowhere to be seen. Adrianna, Ciel, and I have been looking for you ever since."

"I thought the contract ended when I killed Angela. Why is Ciel still with you?" 

Sebastian stared at his wife in silence. How was he going to break the truth to her? Ciel and Adrianna came from around the corner, panic clear in their eyes. 

"No time to explain," Ciel says, "we need to get out of here. There are a group of guards running towards us right now as we speak." 

Y/n picks up the bottom of her ruby red dress and begins running. Sebastian runs behind her, making sure that no one tries to come after his wife. The group comes to a sudden stop when the king himself and members of his council stand in front of them.

The king was a tall man, almost as tall as Sebastian. He had chestnut colored hair and coal black eyes. He oozed power and seemed like a demon you would not want to upset. Just like all demons, his nails were black. On his hand was a red pentagram.

"Well, shit," Y/n mumbles. 

She tugs on Sebastian's arm, but he stays frozen. The king notices and smirks. 

"Sebastian Michaelis. It has been a while." 

"Orion," Sebastian simply responds.

"That is the greeting that I get after all these years? I thought I would get a warmer greeting than that, Brother." 

Y/n looks between the two men with wide eyes. She is completely baffled and at a loss for words. The two men looked completely different than each other. Sebastian glared at King Orion, while the king continued smirking at Sebastian.

Maybe that's where he got it from.

"Orion and I were like brothers, but that was centuries ago. He is no brother of mine, and I do not want to be affiliated with scum like him anymore," Sebastian explained.

King Orion clicked his tongue. "Ouch. You still haven't gotten over it yet? That was over five hundred years ago, Sebastian. Get over it." 

"I will never forgive you, bastard," Sebastian growled. 

In the blink of an eye, Sebastian picked up Y/n and jumped out of the window, falling to the ground below. Ciel and Adrianna followed behind. King Orion walked over to the window and watched as the four regrouped. 

"Even after five hundred years, she still has you wrapped around her finger," King Orion said. 

Y/n looked to her husband for an answer, but he held her arm and they continued running. The four ran back up to the cliff they jumped off of, exiting through the entrance. The mirror lake shattered once again. They made their way to the field. 

Y/n placed her hand on Sebastian's chest. "You have a lot of explaining to do, Sebastian. Start with Ciel."

"After you killed Angela, there was a big explosion from her death. We had not gotten far enough because it caused the young master and I to fall. He hit his head and lost his memory. I was angry at him because he gave you your last orders and forced me to take him away. I took advantage of this and made another deal with him." 

*Sebastian continues to explain the entirety of Season 2 because author doesn't want to write giant ass paragraphs about it*

"You got Ciel turned into a demon?! Dammit, Sebastian, he was supposed to grow up and live his life peacefully!" Y/n yelled.
