Draco Malfoy's white/blonde hair lay across his face, he had not gelled his hair since fifth year. He never actually liked it like that, but his father was determined that he keep up appearances. His Slytherin uniform looked nice on him. He had pale skin, and brilliant grey/blue eyes. His fingers were long, and he fiddled with them when he got really nervous, something his father hated immensely. He was standing in the corner of the room, by himself, which, the Golden Trio noticed, was actually becoming a normality for him. Of course, the fact that he kept his past to himself, his homelife to himself, and covered all of his emotions, that remained the same. He rarely talked to anyone except Blaise Zabini, whom he had grown closer to as friends since sixth year.
"This year, we will be revisiting boggarts. Since the war, all of your guys' fears have changed." Professor Lupin said, Draco merely scoffed at this. "You think different Mister Malfoy?" Lupin said. "Well, maybe you can express with us, what your greatest fear is hmm?" Draco glared at the teacher with anger. "Very well," Lupin turned his attention back to the rest of the class. Draco leaned against the wall. "Now, everyone will be facing the boggart, everyone." Lupin looked in Malfoy's direction, Draco looked at Lupin angrily.
"You cannot possibly expect me to show everyone in this class what my greatest fear is!" Draco yelled. He masterfully kept the panic from his voice and his actions.
"Actually, yes, I do, Mister Malfoy."
"Well, than I simply will refuse to do so." Draco said, leaning against the wall again and crossing his arms. "After all, I already know what my greatest fear is. I don't need confirmation." Anger slightly lacing Draco's voice. Everyone started whispering.
"QUIET CLASS!" Lupin yelled. He stared at Draco.
"If you refuse to do so, than you will have to have detention for the rest of the school year, which, if I might add, just started..."
"I would much rather deal with that that to parade off my deepest fear in a classroom filled with people!" Lupin seemed startled at Draco's hostility, and willingness to deal with detentions everyday all year.
"I was not finished." Lupin said quietly. "This lesson also fills up half of your overall grade, therefore, if you refuse to do this, you will fail this class." Draco's face held fear for less than a second, before it was gone. "And, knowing your father, he will not be extremely pleased that you failed a class." Anger flashed through Draco's eyes with such intensity that everyone was surprised.
"You know NOTHING of my father!" Draco said heatedly. "You don't know anything about him." He said more quietly. He thought for a moment. It was either face his fear in front of a bunch of people, which would most likely get him into trouble with his father, or fail the class which would make his father livid and who knows what would happen. Draco shivered at the very thought of it.
"Fine," Draco said, besides, Lucius would probably be please at what his greatest fear was. He would still get into trouble, but less trouble than failing the entire class. He gave Lupin a glare.
"Alright, everyone form a line! And we shall get started." everyone lined up, Draco staying at the very back of the line.
"Now," Lupin continued. "The most important thing to remember is that if your boggart is a witch or wizard, they will be able to cast spells. I assume you remember the charm to use." Everyone repeated the Ridikkulus pronuciation perfectly. "Good, now, laughter is what truly finishes off a boggart. So figure out how to turn your fear into something funny." Lupin said.
Draco raised his hand. Lupin raised his eyebrows.
"Yes, Malfoy?" Lupin asked.
"Let's just say, for kicks, what if your fear cannot turn into anything funny, what about then?"
"Are you saying that you cannot finish the task?" Lupin asked. Actually, that was exactly what Draco was saying, but he simply did not answer. "I will take that as a fact I was wrong. Now, let's start, shall we?"

Draco was positively livid. He let his anger show, rather than the true feeling that he was feeling, which was complete nervousness. The line slowly got shorter. Draco was getting more angry, and his nervousness was turning into anger. The real thing that he had to remember was that no matter what, he had to keep his composure. Anything else would be disgraceful to Lucius. He was already angry.
"Malfoy," Lupin called. He was the least one. Everyone was staring at him. Draco was rooted to the spot. He was standing by the Golden Quad, Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Ginny. Draco closed his eyes.
"He is not real, it isn't like it would be as bad as if you were actually facing him, so, just get it done and over with." Draco said repeatedly. Harry stared at Malfoy with curiosity.
"Who do you think he's talking about?"
"Voldermort," The other three said automatically.
"Hmm." Harry did not answer.

Draco stepped up to the infernal wardrobe.
"Now, you have five minutes to face him, before I intervene, alright?" Lupin said.
"Got it," Draco said with as much sarcasm as he could. He took another deep breath.
"He's not real." Draco whispered once more, before opening his eyes just as Lupin opened the wardrobe.
