              Extended Summary

How would it feel to -

1. Split your shorts during an important soccer game where you are actually taking a penalty kick and all eyes are on you.

2. Be the cause for that big cast on the arm of the hottest girl in school who happens to the head cheerleader, whose boyfriend walks around with a steel bat and after you broke her arm, he finally finds use for it.

3. Have a menu at lunch named after you. Death by Dev is something they serve which is a wonder dish and not many have had the guts to taste it nor the stomach to digest it.

4. Wanting to dye your hair jet black but the hairdresser makes a mistake and dyes it white instead. You stare at the mirror in horror as he sincerely apologizes to you.

5. Having the teachers approach you with caution, hiding a cross behind their backs in hopes to avoid getting jinxed by you.

6. Be feared by even a kidnapper as he turns himself in, choosing prison instead of you when he finds you in the back of his Black Volvo.

Devon Porter could never believe his unusually bad luck, because wherever he went disasters always seemed to bite him in the ass.
