"What happened to us Lou?" Eleanor sighs and rests her chin against her hand.

"Did you actually just fucking ask me that?" I scoff, laughing.

"Yeah. I did."

"You know what you did is unforgivable."

"Yet here we are."

"Oh trust me, if I had a choice, you would be well out of my life." I say and turn my head away from her.

A group of paparazzi are crowded around the large window at the front of the restaurant. Our table is Nestled close to the back, but still in the view of the cameras. I see a few lights flash and I slowly hold Eleanor's hand across the table, swallowing the sick feeling that arises.

"Let's get things clear." I whisper, leaning closer to the table. A fake adoring smile is plastered on my face as I talk. "What's going on here, between you and I, it's fake. I don't care what feelings you claim to have for me. I don't love you, and when management decides to stop playing puppet master with my love life, I never want to see you again."

I watch as she gulps, her eyes becoming watery.

"Louis I-" she begins but I shut her up by doing the unspeakable. I kiss her. It's a cold kiss, no movement, just two people's lips pressed together. I can tell the papz are having a field day by the amount of flashing lights streaming into the room.

I pull away, disgusted by the kiss. Those photos will be the front cover of the newspaper and the magazines tomorrow. Hopefully management is pleased with it and will get the fuck off my back for a while.

A waitress walks past and I tap her shoulder.

"We need some water." I say. She nods and walks away. I need to wash the taste of Eleanor off of my mouth.

-----

The cold air hits my face as I turn the corner of the building. It's cold and I'm boiling with anger. I need to clear my head. I need to focus on something that will erase the memories for a while.

Pulling out my phone, I think of the one thing that could possibly do the trick. Dancing. At least that mess of a dancer can turn my anger into something constructive.

'To Ruby-

Practice. Now. Be at the studio in 10 minutes.'

I press send and slide down the rough wall, each brick scratching my back. The anger rushing through my body is crazy. I need to relax.

--------

"Come on!" I huff and pace back and forth. It's been forty minutes since I sent that message. Forty! Where the fuck is she!

Ruby's P.O.V

I wake up to a loud bang at my door. Sitting up, my head begins to spin. I fist my hair between my fingers, waiting for the noise to stop. It doesn't though, it just keeps going, until I hear a voice.

"Ruby! Open this fucking door right now!" Louis voice yells through the hard wood. What the hell? Why is he here?

Rubbing my eyes, I get out of bed and make my way over to where the noise if coming from. I look through the peep hole of the door before opening it. Sure enough, Louis is standing there. I open the large door and cross my arms over my chest.

"What do you want?" I whine sleepily and close my eyes, leaning my head against the door frame.

"I texted you an hour ago and you didn't come!" He practically yells in my face. He would have succeeded hadn't he been almost a foot taller than me.

"Umm I have a reason." I say trying to keep my voice as calm as possible.

"It better be good, because you definitely don't want to get on my fucking bad side."

"Bad side? I'm already on your bad side!" My eyes are watering as I talk, I can feel it.

"You signed a contract saying that you will dance when ever I tell you to!" He says, dodging my statement.

"And that contract also states, and I quote, all dancers must be in dorms by eleven!"

Louis begins pacing back and forth in the hallway, probably thinking of a come back. He soon huffs and pushes past me, walking into my room.

Groaning, I follow him, closing the door behind me.

"It's midnight, can't we just do it tomorrow?" I sigh, feeling drained.

"No! We have to do it now!" He yells and stamps his foot. Wow I didn't know grown men still had tantrums.

"Well we can't."

"Stop disobeying me! Just do what I fucking say!" Again he's yelling at me.

"Stop being such a child gees! We can do it tomorrow!"

"No, we have to do it now!"

"Why!? Why do we have to dance at one in the morning?" I start raising my voice. "And I don't want to dance right now! I don't want to have to listen to your whinging and whining about how you wish you had a partner with talent!" My breathing is heavy and my vision blurry.

I watch as Louis' frown grows. He angrily walks towards me and I take a step back. He pushes my shoulders back so they hit the door behind me. I clench my eyes shut, and hold my arms up, bracing myself for his next move. He's going to hit me, I just know he is.

Shock rushes through my body as he does the complete opposite of what I was expecting. I feel something soft press against my lips and Louis' hands make their way to my face.

He pushes his lips harder against mine.

I'm frozen, unable to move. So many thoughts are rushing through my head and I barely feel him tug on my hair.

"Kiss back." He growls against my mouth, but I can't, I'm frozen.

"Kiss back!" He says again and pulls my hair harder. A small moan falls out of my mouth but I still can't move.
