Time skip: 2 weeks later

He didn't say anything. Just stared down at the gravestone with teary eyes, and a quivering smile.

Tears dropped onto the stone that was implanted in the grass, final words for Maria Bell engraved onto it.

"Are you okay Gray?"

"Mhm." Grayson hummed, taking Dakota in his arms.
"Stay here with me for a while."

"I wasn't planning on leaving anyways." Dakota replied.

It was silent as Grayson rested his chin on Dakota's head, his arms wrapped gently around Dakota's neck.

"You really miss her, don't you?" Dakota asked, returning Grayson's hug.

Grayson didn't reply, just wiped away a tear.

It was a usually foggy day at the graveyard. They were the only ones there, and it was quiet. Whether it was peaceful or erie, that's up to you.

Dakota couldn't see Grayson as he was hugged, all he heard were the growing sobs of his boyfriend.

He pulled away and looked up, surprised to see the boy he loved in so much pain again. Lifting up his own soft hand to cradle the taller boy's face, he watched as tears escaped from Grayson's closed eyes.
"Grayson..."

"Ten years...its been 10 years...I barely remembered how she looked like..."

Dakota stared up at him with sad eyes, then looked down at the picture printed on the grave.

He smiled, then looked back up at Grayson.
"Well she was beautiful. Like you."

Grayson slowly opened his eyes and bit his lip as he looked down at Dakota. A tear fell onto Dakota's cheek, making him wince. Dakota wiped the tear away, and Grayson giggled, laughed, then grabbed Dakota and held him tight against his chest.
"I love you. I love you so much. I love you I love you I love you!"

"Grayson...are you-"

Dakota was cut off with Grayson's lips, and being lifted off his heels by the waist.

His eyes were wide open by being caught off guard, tears from Grayson's face falling onto his. He relaxed a bit, closing his eyes and tilting his head backward.

Grayson pulled away from the kiss and wiped his face, then Dakota's.
"Sorry."

He looked back at the grave as Dakota stepped to the side and put his arm around his waist, resting his head on Grayson's shoulder.

"I'm sorry too, Mom." Grayson said.

"What?" Dakota asked.

Without looking at him, Grayson continued.
"I'm sorry, Mom. I've done horrible things. I've sinned so fucking much and I'm so fucking sorry and I fucking miss you... It's been 10 years and I was so young, and I've changed. I'm not the same kid I was a decade ago. I hope you still love me now as you did then. But...but I know you are the same as you always were."

"Oh, and this boy," Grayson put his arm around Dakota's shoulder. "I love him! And I hope you're okay with that, because he's the reason I'm talking to you now!"
