STILES POV

"Stiles, please, just go home," Dad says to me.

I roll my eyes, putting my feet up on the couch in my dad's office. "Why? I finally remember you, and you want me to leave so fast?"

It's been a couple days since I got my memories back. Those few days have been filled with reunions, hugs, and finding a home for Minho and Brenda. They said they'd be happy to live together, so they're staying at my place until a house comes up on the market. Scott has already started looking for jobs for them as well.

Malia came back to Beacon after Lydia had called her. As for our sweet little Banshee, we got the whole situation under control. Basically, we placed her on the Nemeton and let her scream for another hour or so. She felt better after that. I'm not sure why that happens; Lydia gets hurt, she gets overcome with voices. I guess it's some sort of reflex? I'm not sure, but all I know is that she's okay now.

I've spent everyday with Minho, Brenda, and Scott. I wanted to catch up with them, let them know what happened, and as for Scott, I just needed some time with my best friend.

"Yeah, I know," Dad sighs. "But I'm gonna be here all night. I want you to go home so you can go out with your friends."

I get to my feet, walking over to Dad's desk. I brace my hands on the soft wood, eyeing him in his chair. "Dad, I've seen them so much these past few days. Why can't I stay with you? I...I missed you, even if I didn't know who you were."

A smile twitches on his lips. A sigh, then a nod. "Okay. But you're outta here before eleven."

I smirk, and plop back on the couch. I grab the loose papers on the arm rest and rifle through them to give me something to do.

"You sure you're okay?" I ask Brenda.

She laughs, shaking her head at me. "For the millionth time, yes. I can deal with Minho."

We finally found a house on the market, and Minho and Brenda bought it without question. I guess they just want anywhere to live that isn't someone else's house. I completely understand that.

Minho laughs at our conversation. "You shucks are so weird. Just tell the world that you're dating."

Brenda covers her mouth to stifle a giggle. "We aren't dating," I say before she can.

All I get is an eye-roll. "Yeah, keep telling yourselves that, shuck-faces."

I smile bright at the slang. It reminds me of old times, and also something Scott told me. "I almost forgot. Deaton went back to the WICKED HQ and found the memory swipe serum. He thinks he can reverse it to give you guys your memories back."

I wait for a reaction, but all I get are averted eyes. "I don't want it," Brenda says quietly.

"What?" I take a step toward her. "Don't you want to know who you are? Where you came from?"

"I agree," Minho says. "I don't want my shuck memories back. I'm glad with the ones I have."

A smile creeps back onto my face. "Okay. Whatever you want. It's your choice."

"Why do you think Lydia's scream brought my memories back?" I ask.

Scott shifts on the hood of my jeep, jostling me as well. "Maybe because Lydia can hear literally everything. She can remember stuff that aren't her memories. That's probably how you got yours back."

I nod, but my focus moves away from that. "What now?" I ask quietly.

Scott looks puzzled. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, what do we do now? You got me back, I got my memories back, and everything seems okay. So what now?"

He sighs. "I'm not sure. But what I do know, is that we should embrace it. We don't usually have a lot of time to relax before another threat comes along."

I laugh. "Yeah, true enough."

"So," Scott says, hopping off the jeep. I get off on the other side, and we face each other. "Let's live in the moment."

I nod, smiling bright. "Yeah, live in the moment."

Thank you so much for reading this story. It really means a lot.

I'm sorry if the epilogue was a little jumpy, but I wanted to wrap everything up nicely.

As I said last chapter, this is the end of Forgotten Memories. I enjoyed writing this story, and I hope you liked reading it.

Xoxo,

TessNoelle
