*I wrote this in English and the people who read it wanted me to write more then we could, so here I am. It's not that great but it's a story.*
CHAPTER 1
I'm standing in the middle of a barely lit hallway as an eerie feeling of familiarity creeps over me. I turn and walk down the hallway to a room at the end. Behind that door I hear screams. Screams for help, pleading for anyone to come. Looking around I realize who's room it was: my baby brother's. Little me reaches for the doorknob and opens the door to reveal little Ben. He looks up with pure horror in his big brown eyes. I step into his room and scream, he's covered in blood. His own blood.
Little me runs out the room and I don't know what to do. I try to reach out and stop the bleeding, but I'm frozen in place. Mini me comes back in with the phone in one hand, whispering words I can barely make out. She's singing. I screamed in frustration at her but she's not responding to me. Ben's screams fill up the room even more but soon blood comes up through his mouth, stopping him from screaming. Then he smiles up at little me and shuts his eyes. I fall to my knees, bitting on my sweater to muffle the screams.
I sit up panting, sweat dripping down my forehead. It was just a dream, another nightmare about my baby brother's death. The police got there a few minutes after but it was to late. His pulse was gone, I lost my baby brother. The doctors told my parents and I that he had a severe allergic reaction that caused him to bleed through every pore and loose every drop of blood in his body.
I blame myself for Ben's death. I could've done something, anything but that's the thing, I don't know what I could've done. I only wish it were me instead. Sighing, I get up. It feels like I have a weight on my shoulders. It's the burden of his death. I try to shake it off but I still feel it. Great, I think, just the way to start the last day of senior year. I roll out of bed and as quickly as I can, get ready for school.
