Dominic's P.O.V:
"Times up" I heard Balan say. Then it sounded like some dropped the phone. Then Scarlet let out a ear piecing scream. Then the line went dead.
To say say I was angry is a understatement. Scarlet was never scared and even if she was she hid it. But that scream held fear and desperation like a call for help.
"Im going to gut him" I hissed.
"WILL. ELLIE. DOMINIC. ASHLEY. WE FOUND SOMETHING." Auburn screamed.
We all ran over to where Auburn and J.P were looking over a book. I took only got a glimpse of the grimoire before my PARENTS shoved me out of the way, and Ashley.
The only word I saw was obligatus (Latin for: Being bound to, or just Bound). What does Scarlet getting kidnapped have to do with being bound to something? I was cut of my thoughts by my father punching a hole through the wall. My head snapped up to where they stood. I saw my mom and my dad furious, and Ashley crying. Fear clear in her eyes.
"What does the book say?" I asked cautiously.
"Chains! THE MOTHER FLIPPING CHAINS!" screamed Ashley.
"Okay what about chains" I asked Ashley. No answer. "Mom whats going on?"
"We have to find her now!" My mom screamed ignoring me.
"We dont know if they even know about the chains." Auburn said calmly.
"We need to find them before they do!" Ashley screamed hystericly.
"WHAT IS GOING ON!" I screamed.
My father handed me in the book and I was not prepared for what I read.
