Chapter 19: Little baby Felix

A/N SORRY FOR NOT POSTING A CHAPTER IN SUCH A LONG TIME! I FEEL LIKE CRAP D: ANYWAY HERE IS SOME INSPIRATION FROM PEWDIEPIE 'Don't be a salad be the best damn broccoli you could ever be!'

As soon as I knew he was gone something in me fell. There really was no hope. I couldn't let him get to me I will not show him a sign of weakness. Nothing I will act cold. I wanted my brother and family. I needed to save the two monsters inside of me from his wraith. Even if I don't want these children I will protect them, they are innocent, he is not

"He really is a jerk" said the girl amusement clear in her voice. It broke my train of thought. She looked at me curiously and cautiously. "You're the hybrid girl he was talking about?" It wasn't a question it was more like a statement.

"Sadly... By the way I have a name." I answered coldly. Even though I just woke up I was so tired but I had to stay awake. I had to stay strong

"Oh how rude of me!" The girl said sarcastically. It wasn't rude it was more like a joke but I was in no laughing mood. When she saw I wasn't even smiling she finished her sentence. "My name is Serenity. I see that his plan was a success wasn't it?"

"Yes." I said emotionless. The girl looked at me with sympathy then came and took the cuffs off of me. I gave her a curt nod as a thank you but my face remained a mask.

"No need to shut down around me. I know how you feel" Serenity said quietly. "Only him. Him and his.... friends" She said disgusted. There was no use shutting this girl out she seemed innocent. I knew looks could be deceiving but trust could be earned. I heard a child's shrill cry break through the silence. My head snapped up to Serenity. Her face was a mask of pain and love. Then she bolted toward the scream and soon it stopped.

Pitch black hair and opal blue eyes (Picture of the little baby on side->). The baby looked like a mix of Serenity and.... the morningstar. I felt my face go pale. So she did know how I feel.

"This is Felix. Felix meet Scarlet." The baby gurgled a little and reached for me. Serenity cocked a eyebrow at me, I nodded and she handed me the little baby. "You were stronger than me so he felt the need to have another. I fell for the Lucifer that was a bug mistake... You're like a mistress sorta."

I flashed her a grin. I decided if she was deceived  then I may as well try not to make her life to dull. "I was snatched at my birthday party. Put up a hell of a fight though." I cradled the child close to me rocking it back and forth till it finally fell asleep.

"I heard ya did. Balan was really pissed when he talked to Lucifer!" Good

"You hear them speak allot?" odd

"Yeah they come in here allot. Sometimes for me... Sometimes for Felix."

"Why you?" I asked not rudely but curiously.

"Well I am one of the strongest reaper female warrior alive. Well that was until you showed up."

"I'm only 17..."

"I know I am 250 years old and still you could probably kick my ass."

"Well I was sorta trained by an archangel, a hybrid, and a annoying little guardian. It didn't do me no good against a fallen angel seeing how I just got my swords and wings.."

"I like your eyes" Serenity said changing to a safer subject.

"Just got those to. My eyes use to be like my fathers."

Serenity took the child out of my arms and went back into his room.

I my eyes grow heavier. I fought to keep them up but I just couldn't. I was to tired. Sleep sounded like heaven in this hell. So sleep I did.
