Chapter 20 FULL~ Down the rabbit hole

Scarlet's P.O.V:

1 month, 2 weeks and 3 days later-

We fell into a routine. First, we would wake up and fed Felix a bottle of special formula that Serenity makes. Then, we would cook for our selves and clean the already clean apartment (Apparently the Morningstar looks for any little thing to punish someone over...). We would make sure every little thing was in place and sense we had no idea when he would be back (one week my ass) I would train Serenity in hand to hand combat sense she was kinda rusty... I had a odd feeling about Serenity, I wasn't giving her the cold shoulder but I just didn't trust her. I let her think I did though. There was just something in the way she acted... OH who am I kidding I am probably just imagining it! I looked like I ate a baby whale now and at any second I might explode if someone just poked my stomach. Serenity warned me about Lucifer's 'friends'  that were picking me up. She said she knew their names and how they acted because he use to drop her off to them. Their names were Jasper, Cody, and Malik (Ma~Leak); Jasper was just an extra guard he showed barley any emotion and was very cold unless he was talking to his boss then he was a suck-up. Cody is the youngest of the bunch and believes violence is the key to solve everything and to not speak to him NO MATTER WHAT! (Yeah right). If i did I would end up with another needle in me then beat up or a silver sword through my hand... Yeah doesn't sound pleasant. Malik is the original guard and Cody's older brother and is like a mix between the two. The overall rules were pretty simple, Don't speak unless spoken to (not going to happen), Don't make eye contact (Bitch please). Oh here is my favorite, Don't be sarcastic or a smart aleck. Serenity got mad at me because I laughed in her face at this last one. Apparently I wasn't going to have a pleasant time there because Heaven knows I ain't following those rules from little douche bags. Any way  back to the present!

"Hey Mistress!" Serenity called quietly.

"Hmm?" I asked feeding the black hole named Felix. I swear there has to be a bottomless pit lurking in this child's stomach.

"How many bottles has Felix drunk already!?" She exclaimed

I gave her the 'are you serious' face and answered "3"

"Wow maybe he is ready for human food." She said with wide eyes. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Thanks I haven't thought about that yet" I said, sarcasm oozing from every word.

RIng Ring. What was that! I looked over at serenity and she had a little phone in her hand.

"Hello" said Serenity's ice cold voice.

"Hello love." said a teasing voice. It was HIM, he was teasing Serenity. I saw her grimace. "How is my son?" He asked in a more serious tone.

I put down Felix and took the phone from Serenity who was putting on her Ice queen face.

"He is fine Lucifer now cut to the chase what do you want?" I snapped coldly.

"Why hello Scarlet." He said clearly amused. He has way to much fun with this...

I didn't answer just waited for him to answer my question. I glared at the wall.

"Its rude not to answer you know" He said obviously bored.

"Then answer my question." I said allowing no emotion in my voice. It was kind of scary how I could sound so cold with no problem at all. I was raised in a house with love and care only coldness I ever saw was when we were in danger. None was ever directed to me I was always so joyful... Yeah that's down the rabbit hole with most of my hope. I was stuck in hell with no way out.

"jasper is on his way to pick up you and the other two." He drawled

"How long?" Serenity asked quietly standing beside me holding her child protectively.

"Depends on what you're asking about." said a unfamiliar voice and it sure the hell didn't come from the phone.

i looked at the doorway and two men stood in the door frame. I didn't know exactly which one spoke but I am guessing its the one with the big side smirk stretched across of his face.

"I'm guessing you're Cody." I said in a Monotone rolling my eyes. My face mimicked Serenity's and took form like the Cold emotionless bitch I felt.

The man's smirk grew "Sherlock you solved the case." the other man said sarcasm clear in his voice.

 I turned around and saw Serenity practically hiding Felix under her hair. I grabbed the emergency diaper bag for her and walked out of the room. I stalled and waited for Serenity. She looked at me in awe. Oh yeah I wasn't suppose to speak.

"I see CC didn't inform you of the rules" Cody muttered.

"Oh she did" I paused and threw in a smirk at Serenity. "Doesn't mean I will let you pricks run all over me. One thing about me is right now I might look like a helpless pregnant women with the stomach filled with baby whales, but I will still give all of you a run for your money." Cody looked at me at first in shock, then awe, then amusement while the others looked impressed then... bored

"Lets just go we will finish this conversation later" A third voice snapped annoyed.

"Malik no need to yell at me." Cody said sarcastically  "Yell at Jasper." He finished.

"Enough Cody." Jasper snapped.

"Jesus if I didn't know better I would think you all were PMSing" I muttered. All three turned and glared at me.

"We will finish this conversation later" Malik repeated.

I lagged behind Malik and Cody and walked protectively beside Serenity and Felix. I didn't know how long we were walking through the tremendous building but it seems like eons till we made it outside. Hell was odd it looked like a emo city. There were odd tunnels and the smell of ash and a faint trace of blood.

"For this place being hell it's not what I imagined at all" I muttered  voicing my thoughts.

"There are certain spots for different time periods on earth. But this is not where the souls are taken." Malik sounded as if he said it a million times before.

"Where are we then?" I asked

"Don't you ever shut up?" Cody snapped.

"Deal with it." I snapped back. A loud growl rumbled through Cody's chest and he lunged at me. He moved so fast no one had any time to react. By no one I mean Cody and Malik. As he lunged I held out my hand and caught him by the neck. I made sure i had... WOAH! Head rush! I dropped Cody and stumbled backwards a little.

"Cody you idiot. Lucifer is going to kill us." Malik muttered. "Don't lunge at her she is to important! Idiot!" He slapped Cody upside the head.

I felt dizzy but it was slowly going away.

"Are you okay Mistress?" Serenity asked. I took in a deep breathe and was back to normal.

"Sorry. Head rush" I muttered to her. Jasper who was walking behind us was listening to our conversation and kept his eye on me.

We started walking to a... limo? What?

"Get in." Jasper said. Malik went in first then, Serenity and Felix then, Cody, me then Jasper climbed in. I had only one thing on my mind.

Where are we going?
