"Your highness-" The chancellor said. (Remember Esteban is not chancellor in this story BTW)
"Call me Gabe." I said
"Well Gabe, we must choose the positions."
"Which job's are available?"
"Well your high-Gabe, we need a solid 20 recruits for the regular army/guard, 10 new palace guards, and last but not your personal guard."
"Do I really need a guard? It makes me feel kind of self-centered, selfish, and stuff."
"Well you are the Prince Of Avalor."
"Bu-"
"No buts."
"Fine but, my personal guard will also be in the regular guard so they don't just have to follow me around 24/7, ok?"
"Ok, now lets look at the people who tried out today."
"Well definitely Javier, Ashley, Alanza, Damien, and Daniel."
"Ya and (14 more people)."
"Totally!"
"We still need one person Gabe who will it be?"
"It's obviously between Elena and Darla."
"Well who will it be?"
"I think I'm going to go with Elena on this one, I think she really needs this."
"Okay! Elena it is!"
"Now Gabe can you decide who will be your personal guard?"
"I don't know..."
I thought how will need this job more? Elena, it had to be Elena! I don't know why but, I felt a personal connection with her, a personal connection I haven't felt since m-my parents.
"Elena, I choose Elena."
