The white mini pulled out of the drive and swerved of down the road, round the corner probably never to be seen again. I mentally groaned and pulled away from my window when my ringtone went off.
Incoming call from Macy.
M: "hey g, are you packed?"
G: "yeh just putting my makeup bag in my suitcase,"
M: "okay, well we're leaving now be ready or I'm going without youuuu"
*call ended*
I giggled at my best friend and zipped my suitcase up.
My name is Grace, I'm 15 and I'm from Birmingham. As for Macy well she is annoying and loud but I'm so glad to call her my best friend today we are going to London as a get away before the stress of GCSE's overcomes us both completely.I struggled my way down the stairs and left my suitcase and handbag by the front door, making my way through into the kitchen where I found my mum and dad engrossed in conversation about my good for nothing sister. I coughed awkwardly and they both turned round suddenly, there glares changing from panicked to relaxed when they realised it was me not Emily. My mum pulled me into a hug and sighed, "oh grace, you're all grown up look at you going of to London on your own" I chuckled at her, "mum, I'm going for four days, you're acting like I'm never coming back!". My dad laughed at my comment and then pulled me into a hug too, mimicking my mum saying " oooo gracie, baby don't go pleaseeee". With that all three of us burst into laughter until I heard the doorbell ring. With a squeal I ran towards the door flinging it open and was pulled into a bone rushing hug by Macy, she screamed in my ear causing me to scream back. I grabbed the handle of my suitcase, placed my handbag in my arm shouted goodbye to my parents and shut the door.
*TRAIN TO LONDON LEAVING IN 3 MINUTES OF PLATFORM 3B*
We sprinted through the station towards the entrance to platform 3b tickets in hand and bags dragging behind. We just made it on and sat in our reserved seats as the train left its place. Me and Macy sat there for a good ten minutes panting out of breath before Macy spoke up (not surprising) "we should do more exercise because we are the laziest people ever" we both giggled at this statement before I placed both headphones into my ear listening to the 1975, Macy doing the same but probably listening to McFly she's obsessed with them.Walking into the hotel around an hour after our train arrived at London and getting lost for a good half an hour, we headed straight for the reception desk hoping to get in as soon as possible.
347 sign was placed on the door as Macy placed the key in the lock and turned it, dramatically pushing open the door. Yes she is one of those people. In sync we walked in, shut the door and ran and jumped on our individual beds. We spent the rest of the night eating room service food, gossiping about the people at school we don't like and listening to our favourite bands.
