The next few days in London seemed to fly past, we had the best time and we had to buy another suitcase to fit all of our new stuff in because we bought that much. Now we are waiting in the station at Birmingham for my dad to pick us up.
After dropping Macy of at her house I told my dad about our trip and he complained at how much I spent, but we ended up laughing together when I told him about the time when Macy tripped over in Madamme Tussauds and knocked over the model of Justin Bieber and got us kicked out.
As we pulled onto our driveway, still talking to my dad about various subjects trying to catch up on four days gossip I grabbed my bags out of the boot and walked up to the front door as I noticed a large moving van parked up outside next doors house. "Dad?" I asked as he caught up beside me, "oh yeh, I forgot about that, we finally have new neighbours. Don't look to grumpy they have a son who looks about your age". I rolled my eyes and walked into the house shouting hello to mum and dragging my case and bags up to my room. I flopped on my bed and sighed hearing banging from the house next door.
If you are confused let me explain, 7 weeks and 4 days ago mine and Macy's other best friend moved out of the house next door and moved to Australia! At the thought of her moving house made my heart sink as we made so many memories in that house but when she told me she going to live in Australia was some of the saddest news I ever heard. We still keep in contact but time zones and her making new friends is gradually drifting us apart. Since then, however, people have been in and out of the house for viewings but none have returned until now I guess.
"Grace, Emily come down to the kitchen please!" I heard my mum shout from downstairs, I clambered of my bed walking past my bags making a mental note to unpack after this and walked out my room knocking on Emily's room as I passed and entered when I heard a grunt in reply. "Mum wants us downstairs, I don't know if you heard". My older sister scowled at me and stormed straight past me as if I wasn't there, I sighed and trudged down the stairs and into the kitchen, leaning on the breakfast bar. "The new neighbours are coming for dinner tonight, please make an effort to dress nice and be polite to them" her eyes fixed on Emily and I knew that bit was directed at her, "they actually have a 17 year old son who will be coming so you can maybe get to know him?" by this point she was looking at me? But the boys Emily's age why would I make friends with him? I didn't ask why as Em was already moaning so I agreed to mum and went back upstairs where I unpacked and started getting ready.
