16. Loss of Innocence.

There comes a day when you realizes that the world is harsh and cruel. That day comes for everyone, that is the day that you stop seeing what you want and you start seeing the truth. The world that we live in isn't as perfect as we thought when we were little. As we grow, our views on the people around us change. As we grow, we face the cruelty of being judged, back stabbed, and even hurt by our loved ones. That day is when we lose our innocence, we lose our innocent view on things that we thought were wonderful and beautiful. Losing our innocence dosen't mean that you are a bad person, it just means that we had to grow up and are exposed to the cruelty of the world. But not everything in this world is cruel, we just need to look hard to find all the beauty in this world. And when you find that thing or person that makes you happy that your are alive, then hold on tight to is because it helps you restore a small bit of your innocence. But remember losing your innocence isn't always a bad thing, because in the end it prepares you for the future and it helps you become stronger.
