Once again, a huge thank you to Jackaboy_Markimoo and Shipping_Squirrel. They're both amazing! (/^▽^)/

Mark's P.O.V.

When I asked him the question, the only response that I got was a loud snore. I won't ask again. It'll only remind him of it.

Sighing, I picked him up bridal style, walked to his bedroom and lay him down softly just like last night.

He looked so peaceful. To imagine, I was like that one time..

I kissed his cheek this time. How I hurt this beautiful creation, I don't know.. It's me. I can't control my temper.

I made my way to the door before I glanced back at him once again. It was so hard to take my eyes off of him.

Closing the door, I sighed. " Hello, old friend.." I heard an unforgettable voice say. Just then I turned around to see that tall man with dark brown hair and a big beard standing in front of me.

" Hey, Ken." I smiled. " What brings you here?" I asked. " Just visiting. Like old times." He replied with a laugh. " Heh, yeah." I laughed nervously.

Ken was a well known angel hunter. Seems that he was a demon, I don't blame him for hating angels, but years ago, he took it too far. When he abducted the poor angels...

He'd do unspeakable things to them. From torturing to the worst...

If he found out about Jack, he wouldn't hesitate to take him...

" Well? Does my old buddy have any news for me?" He bellowed.   " Well, since you've left, I didn't really do much." I played it safe. He smiled.

" Guess what." He smirked.            " What?" I asked. " I got fourteen angels in the last month." He announced proudly.

I felt an aching in my long dead heart, if I even had one left...

If I heard this any normal day, I wouldn't care or I would probably laugh, but Jack has changed my opinion.

Inside I felt sick, but I was glad that Jack wasn't one of them poor angels. " Come into the kitchen. I'll get you something and we can chat." I smiled, changing the horrible subject.

" Mark, don't forget. If you ever find one of those angels, you know who to call." Ken smirked, closing the front door.

Thank goodness!

After doing my own thing, I decided to go to sleep.

I woke up and stretched. " Nng." I groaned. Remembering Jack, I smiled at the thought of how cute he was.

Opening my eyes, I yawned. That's when it hit me. I never answered Mark's question.

I slowly got up and walked to the door. That's when I remembered last night..

I had woken up to hear a strangely familiar voice... It was him. It was the man that killed Estelle. She was one of my only friends in heaven. She had black hair, blue eyes, pale skin and was very shy.

One night, Estelle and I were walking through an alley, when suddenly a man emerged from the shadows. Well... We thought that it was a man...

" Hello there..." He cooed ominously. " Um. Hi.." I answered, being polite. " It's some night for two angels to be wandering around at this time, huh?" He asked. This person seemed to give off a weird aura...

He hid his face by tilting his head downwards with his cap covering his face. " Wait, how do you know that we're angels?" I asked, surprised. " Oh, it's easy to tell.." He chuckled, lifting his head up. Now, both Estelle and I could see the feature that he was hiding from us. The feature that would definitely let us know if he was a demon. Those red eyes...

" S-stay away." I stuttered, holding my ground. " Heh, whatever.." He laughed as he lunged towards Estelle with a deadly knife. I watched in horror as the knife pierced through Estelle's skin and as she let out that blood curdling scream that I would never forget.

Just to cause her some extra pain in her final moments, he twisted the knife that was shoved into her heart. Before he could reach me, I flew away from the man and disappeared into the night.

I still wish that I did something to help her... That night, I cried myself to sleep.

I had never noticed the never ending tears that streamed down my face. I had heard everything from last night. My cries had turned into sobs as I against the wall.

I lay in bed and played my phone until I heard sobs coming from Jack's room. Getting up, I walked out of my room, headed to his room, opened his door and that's when I was met with the heartbreaking sight of Jack sobbing and hunched up into a ball against the wall.

" Oh, Jack." I whispered with my hand over my mouth. " What happened?" I asked with a worried tone. I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. He shuddered and tensed up when my hand made contact with his shoulder. I couldn't see his face, but I bet it must have been bad.

He said nothing.. " Jack?.." I urged him on. He shuffled away from me, still saying nothing.. I felt my anger begin to rise. " I'm trying to comfort you, Jack. Come on.." I pleaded. Nothing..

That was it! I had had absolutely enough. " Jack, answer me now before I really make you! Do you ever even try to fucking stop crying?! It's so fucking annoying!" I shouted. He flinched.

" No, I won't answer you! Just leave me alone!" He replied, showing his tearstained cheeks. This made him sob even more.. I immediately felt a wave of regret, remorse and guilt flood into me. " I-I'm so sorry." I apologised, wrapping my arms around him and letting him cry onto my chest.

I don't know what upset him, but it seemed to have upset him a lot. " Please.. Forgive me. I get angry at times and I don't know how to control them." I apologised. " It's o-okay." He cried. " Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked.

" Okay." He replied.

After Jack explained the entire story to me, a wave of guilt washed over me.

" I'm scared. Are you with him? I-is that why you brought me here?" He asked. " Woah, woah, woah. Slow down. It's okay, I'm here. Two, no, I'm not with him. Three, no, of course not. I would never do something as bad as that." I answered.

" O-okay... Thank you." He whispered in my arms.
