Mark's P.O.V.

I really didn't want to worry Jack about all the preparation we had to do. Ken was an unstoppable force... But he had a partner.. His name was Aaron.

I do remember talking to him a few times, but compared to Ken, he was nothing like a demon when it came to his hatred for angels. He despised them more than anything. Always doing or planning something to kill them.

He always said that if any angel EVER approached me, he'd drag them to his place and... I don't want to say what else he does after that...

I know Ken would do horrible things to Jack, but Aaron... He's DEADLY. Not even Satan himself could compare to him. If there were a competition for torturing angels, the winner for sure, would be Aaron.

I'm scared if Ken picked up the scent of an angel in the house. He would've known that I was hiding it. What scared me was the thought of him telling Aaron..

My thoughts were interrupted by Jack entering. " Hi Markimoo!" He smiled brightly. " Hey, Jackaboy!" I returned the painfully polite smile. " So, how are you?" He asked. " I'm good. You?" I replied. " Good... So.. Wacha wanna do?" He bellowed.

" Hmm.. You wanna go on a date? But you don't have to if you don't want to!" I quickly jumbled up my words. " Sure!" He cheered happily. " Then go get yourself ready." I smirked. " Okay!" He beamed.

We decided to go to the cinema and watch ( insert popular movie.)

I was scooping the popcorn up and dropping it into Jack's mouth as he laughed his head off whenever he tried doing a trick and failed. By now, we weren't even paying attention to whatever film was on. This was much more fun!

That night, Jack and I left the cinema laughing our arses off thanks to all the goofing around. Well, that was until.. Someone showed up.

Ken...

Jack and I were walking down an alley, when Ken jumped out of nowhere and lunged for me. " What the fuck?!" I screamed at him. " Oh. Mark?! Heheh sorry. Um... Who's this?" He asked pointing at Jack.

" Oh, him? That's my friend, Jackson." I said monotonously. I needed to make up a name for him. Nodding at Jack to play along while Ken was facing him, Jack gave a quick nod in understanding. " Oh. Okay, hi Jackson." Ken smiled, getting off of me and extending his arm towards Jack. " H-hi. Y-you're Ken, right?" Jack stuttered, shaking Ken's hand. " He's a bit stuttery (yes, I made up my own word. Deal with it.) After watching an amazing horror movie." I laughed.

" Okay and yes, I am Ken." Ken replied. " Yeah. Mark's told me so much about you. You seem like an amazing person." Jack laughed. I didn't like this one bit. I could see the sadness and fear in Jack's eyes. He was facing the demon that killed his best friend.

" I was just out, hunting some angels. Hey, Jackson? Do you have any tales of killing angels?" Ken questioned. " Uhh-" Jack mumbled, but was soon interrupted by a light that appeared. It was a green and black mist that swirled around until the light faded and there stood Patricia! What a time to drop in and save us.

" Ah, Patricia! How are you my friend?!" Ken asked cheerfully. He had thankfully forgotten about his last question. " I'm awful well! You?" Patricia put on a fake smile that only I could see through. She usually wore a fake smile... She preferred to blend in, than having the world know about her depression.

" I'm quite good. It has been too long, has it not?" Ken responded. " Ah, it's been ages. Tis' awful how time flies!" Patricia chuckled. " Oh well. Anything new happening?" Ken continued. " Not much. You?" Patricia replied politely. " Just the usual." Ken smiled gleefully.

" Um, hey. Sorry for not being able to stay around longer, but Jackson and I have to go.. Jackson seems to be getting a little tired over there.." I pretended to act sad. Jack did look quite tired.

" Okay. I've an idea. Maybe you could drop Jack home and stay at my place for a while with Patricia." Ken suggested. " Sure." Jack and I said in unison. " Kay." Patricia agreed.

" Goodnight, Jackaboy." I pecked Jack's lips while I lay him gently onto the bed. " Night, Markimoo." Jack whispered in response. " I'll be back soon, okay?" I smiled. " Okay." Jack replied.

Jack's P.O.V.

As soon as Mark was gone, I immediately leaped up and out of bed. " Hey, Estelle?" I called. " Yes? You have summoned me?" She replied.

" Um, do you think that you could help me find the next letter?" I asked. " Of course." She smiled. She lead me down the hallway and towards the kitchen. " Look at the tile that that is where you stand. Walk three tiles forward and six tiles to the right." Estelle ordered. I did what I was told to do, to find that one of the tiles under me wobble?!

" I'll see you tomorrow." Estelle smiled and faded away. " Bye and thank you!" I called. Lifting the tile up, I peered under to find one of Mark's notes.

10/05/1845 AD.

I had caught him. Well.. I did not... I definitely have a bad feeling about him.. I have seen some more suspicious activity...

15/03/1892 AD.

I knew it all along.. He lied to me... I'm a demon now.. I hate myself! I chose my friendship over my morals...

I gasped. He wasn't always a demon! I quickly put the tile back and ran into bed, taking the note with me.

Later:...

Ken's P.O.V.

As soon as everyone was gone, I called Aaron. "I suspect that Mark is hiding something.. Or someone..." I chuckled into the phone.

" Someone is after my Mark? That won't do.." He responded.
