Scott
"Meredith?" he turned to see pale skined woman. "What-how did you enter my house?"
She was just staring blankly. "Don't call the ambulance."
"You don't understand", he tried to grab the phone again, but she took it out of his reach. She was suprisingly quick. Scott felt an urge to knock her to the floor. Instead, he calmed his voice. "Lydia is dying. We need to help her - doctors need to help her..."
"NO!" she screamed. The light in the room went out. "NO, CALL NO ONE!"
"Meredith", his patientce was really thin now. He just hoped his mom heard this. "I don't know how did you enter, or what do you want, but I don't have time for this. Give me the phone and help us or I'll take it from you!"
"Don't call the ambulance. You musn't call the ambulance", she just kept reapiting.
"SCOTT!" he heard his mom screaming. "CALL THE AMBULANCE!"
He felt fear of lost. They couldn't lose Lydia, not her...
"Meredith", his voice was firm, duble louder from rage. "Head me the phone. Now."
"You don't understand, you don't understand", she was singing.
"Than explain me!" he cried. "Meredith, we need to save Lydia!"
She waved her head no. "She's not dead. Just sleeping."
"She has no pulse."
She waved her hand. "Doesn't matter, doesn't matter. She's alive. Just sleeping."
"She shows no signs of life."
"She's a banshee. Banshee's do that. They sleep. They rest. They wake up. They know more than they did", she paused. "Don't call the ambulance."
"Okay", Scott sighed, "Okay. But, please, I need you to guarantee me that she will wake up and have no concequences."
"Yes", Meredith said quietly, "She's a banshee."
Other disccusion seemed pointless.
"SCOTT, NOW!" he heard his mom screaming.
"But if you're lying", he told Meredith, "If this proves wrong, I'll never forgive you. Ever. And you better be running", but he knew his threats would not save Lydia.
"SCOTT!"
"Gotta go!" he cried as running upstairs.
He rushed into the room.
"Scott! Oh, thank god! Did you call them?" his mom looked like a lunatic, her hair a mess. She was counting Lydia's heartbeats, reanimating her and like that over and over again. She lookd worried sick.
Lie or not to lie. "I didn't", he decided to tell the truth.
She stoped her routin for a second. "Scott, are you crazy? Lydia shows no signs of life! I can't help her enough!"
"I know, but-"
"No but! Call them emidiatly!"
"NO!" Scott cried. He didn't know where that came from.
That was the first time Stiles showed he was present. "Scott, what the hell?"
"Meredith came!" Scott continued. He didn't even notice he was yelling. "She told me for the banshee's it's natural!"
"Belive it or not, it is natural to die for anyone!" Stiles was shouting as well. "Now, if you will not call the ambulance, I will!" he tried to get through the door, but Scott stopped him.
"Stop it!" he yelled at his best friend. And Stiles did stop. He looked directly into Scott's eyes.
Scott thought it could mean that he'll listen to him. "Trust me", he said calmly, "Please."
Stiles was just glaring at him. And then he punched him in the face.
"What the heck!" Scott cried.
"Enugh you two! Enough! I don't care if your manly pride was hurted, but can someone please call the ambulance!"
"WILL ANYONE JUST LISTEN TO ME!" Scott shouted. "MEREDITH CAME AND TOLD ME-"
"ALREADY HEARD THAT! AND I HONESTLY DON'T CARE! LYDIA IS D-DEAD-" Stiles couldn't continue, which gave Scott a chance to explain.
"Meredith told me in a life of a banshee it has to happen", he pointed at Lydia, "She'll wake up, and be perfictly fine. Plus she'll know something else she didn't know before."
"Scott, you can't trust Meredith! She was in the Eichen House-"
"And so was Lydia", Scott added.
"Well, Meredith is still suposed to be!"
"She is just another banshee and I trust her!" Scott yelled.
"And I don't!"
"And do you trust me?" Scott breathed.
Stiles was watching him for a long moment. Then he nodded, tears in his eyes. "Yeah", he said within a sob, "Yes, Scott, I do. You are a true alpha. You are the lader of the pack. I trust you, honestly."
Scott came to his best friend and hugged him. They were togheter for just a second, but it felt incredibly good.
"Oh my sad pups!" Melissa came and soon all three were hugging.
"You know, Stiles", Scott said after they broke apart. "The leader can be wrong as well. I was a few times. But I guarantee you on this."
He was just hoping he was.
