KEEGAN POV

It was a horrible idea to say yes. At the one hand I wish Troian will be at the party too, but at the other one I just want to bury myself.
After sneaking out of the house without getting in trouble with Ashley, I've been thinking about how and IF I should talk to Troian.
Actually I didn't even know if she would be there, but I guessed.
I was ready, at least physically, and parked my car a few flats away from Emily's (and my best friend Coltons. not.) house. It wasn't hard to find, because although it was only 3pm, a few people were in the front garden already.

I got out of the car, winked to some people I knew and rang the doorbell.
Emily opened.

E: Hey Keegan! I wasn't sure if you would come to be honest but it's great you're here.. come in!

I looked around, it was very bright and spacial, music was playing in an comfortable volume, and drinks and food was literally everywhere you looked at. At the other side of the room we went outside in the garden again, where some people were sitting near the pool.

E: Excuse me for a second.. you can help yourself with the drinks or food by the way.

She stole away, but I could see that she whispered something to her brother, whereupon he went away, out of my sights...

TROIAN POV

I was nervous, of course. After spending some time with Colton and seeing his home, I felt better, but when I thought about the party my spirits were low again.
My phone rang, just when I parked in front of Coltons house.

T: Colton hey! Wait a minute I'm already here, we can talk face to face!

C: Umm.. yeah alright I'm coming out. Because guess who just arrived.

A little pain in my stomach grew.
Taking one last view in the car-mirror, I got out and shakily headed to Colton, who was already awaiting me.

C: He just came. But it's fine okay. By the way...you look really beautiful.

His try to fix me made me feel..better.
We stepped inside, and I instinctively took Coltons hand. Maybe just because I would've fallen to the floor otherwise, but at least it helped.
I knew most of the people, some were new faces to me, but I guessed that I'd  just have to ignore my problems and then I'd  have a good night.. well like I said, I thought so..
