Chapter 32

Troian POV

Involuntary I got nervous.
Keegan prepared the popcorn, I made some hot chocolate, but I was standing back to back with him. Noone even said a single word, and in my mind I wished that this would last. Well it just gave me false hopes, because after some time, it happened.

K: Umm..I have to tell you some things Troian.

I actually did expect him to say something, but I hoped he wouldn't anyway.

T: I think that's not the right time.

K: Well, when is it then?

I totally did want to talk. But I couldn't. Not before I would speak with Colton. Not before I would get to clear up some things.
I finally turned to him, focusing directly on his eyes.
It was a familiar feeling, his light-blue eyes, deepened in mine, almost casted a spell over me again.

T: Not today Keegan.

I grabbed the cups, turned around, took a deep breath and went to the living room again.
Then I sat down on the other side of the couch, between Ashley and Toby.
If he really cares, he has to accept my decision, and that I'm..just not ready yet.
Our eyes met for some more awkward moments during the night, and when the movie finally ended I immediately went upstairs to Ashleys room.
Then she rushed in.

A: Oh my god what the hell Troian. WHAT was going on between you two?! Everything was so fine until this little time when I left you alone for l..

Toby was suddenly standing in the door.

T: Ashley? Can you turn off my light when I'm laying in my bed?

A: Ahww Babyboy of course. I'll be right there, just wait for me!

She pointed at me and gave me an angry stare before she left the room.

After bath-routine, I jumped in my alternative bed and waited for Ashley, who then came in, also ready for bed. She smiled evil into my face, which impression was probably pure fear that moment.

A: You have to talk to Colton. Because if you won't do that, Keegan thinks he doesn't have a chance, or Colton feels betrayed.

T: I know. But I don't..

A: Umm yes you do. Tomorrow before lunch you two gonna meet and clear things up, you hear me?
And if you don't come back as free and independend woman, ready to start new..connections chrom with Keegan, then I'll talk to Colton in person, but trust me, you want to arrange this yourself.
Now, good night Troian. Sleep well and dream of..you know.

She turned off the light, and I was laying there, staring into nowhere. I'll hopefully get one more chance with Keegan, but I also hoped so badly that I could keep Colton as a friend..
