I looked back to the two men who aided my escape, not at all knowing who they were, and began to cry. These kind people, who I, (presumably, ) do not know, had just helped me begin my escape from RedCo. I wished that I knew more about them. But rather than ask about them, I became unsatisfingly curious about my past. "Why am I here?" The tears had stopped. Back to business. "You were volunteered by your family in an attempt to cure you of your short-term memory loss. You've been in here for a long time." The old man had spoken. Confused, I inquired further. The young man spoke this time. "You've been in cryosleep- a form of hibernation, if you will- for years. Every now and again you were woken up to do more testing on this exact test track. Unfortunately, according to RedCo regulations, all test tracks must be kept operational until they are condemned or their research team gets shut down. You've been through this course many times, even after we had found a cure." I froze. I've been in here for that long? Whatever family I had, they had probably forgotten about me... "Don't be too sad, because we are going to break you out of here." I looked again at the old man. I turned to the door, my grim look to be forever frozen to my face. "Let's just go, then." I heard the two men struggle to get in front of me and open the door with their security cards. I walked through and into a cold, long corridor with another door at the end. To my left it branched off to who-knows-where and on my right all there was was a blue wall. In fact, all the walls in this place are blue, I remember. But these walls were different- they had a blue stripe in the center, expanding infinitely to the right and left. I started to walk to the door. "I think she knows where she's going..." The young man had whispered to his partner. I started to sprint, before slamming into the door at top speed. The door shuddered and slowly opened up. "I didn't think that the doors did that.." The old man muttered. I went through the door and found a tall vertical staircase. I immediately began to climb upwards. "Wait! You remember that cure I was talking about? It's downstairs in one of the RnD labs! I looked at the young man, then ran down the stairs. At the bottom was another door and through that was another long hall, this one connected to previous test chamber observation rooms, and also connected to many RnD labs. We began to search each one until I finally found the cure and injected myself with it. My mind grew sharper, and I began to remember...
