After school, I started walking home. I walk home after school every day. I stopped at 7/11 to get a doughnut. As I walked out I heard someone call my name.

"Asher!" I looked up to see Jakob in front of me.

"Hey, I see I have a stalker?" I laughed.

"No," he chuckled, "I was walking home and just saw you walk out."

"Oh, I bought a bag of doughnuts," I held the bag up, "you want one?"

"No thanks."

"More for me," I took a bite of a doughnut.

"So I was wondering, would you like to catch a movie sometime or something?" He started blushing.

"Yeah sure," I smiled.

"Okay, I'll pick you up at 7 tomorrow night." He walked away.

I just said yes to going on a...date?! I can't believe it. I'm not even over Jason. Good thing me and Jakob are just friends. And that's all we will ever be. Although it might be nice to have someone stop the tears at night.

Whenever I'm alone I cry my eyes out. The only sounds I hear are the blood from my arms and the tears from my eyes hitting the ground. I wonder if Jakob ever noticed the scars covering my arms. Ever since I was 13 the scars started to take place on my arms. I'm 17 now.

I started walking home again. I was halfway home when I spotted Quinn. I started heading over there to talk to her.

"Hey," I said.

"Oh hey!" She smiled.

"I didn't see you at school today."

"Yeah, I feel kind of sick."

"Sorry about last night." She looked down at her feet.

"It's fine Ken." We both shared a smile.

"Okay."

"You wanna come to my house?" I asked.

"Yeah let me grab my hoodie."

We started walking to my house. We were joking and laughing the whole way home. She's the only one who knows the truth behind my scars. She's the only one I can trust. If no one likes you then you can't trust anyone, but Quinn has been there for me since day one.

She called her mom and we told her that she is spending the night at my house. I wanna tell her everything. Tell her about Jakob. The movie. Everything. It's basically like we share a brain. We both know everything, and if the other doesn't then they will as soon as possible. No lies. No secrets about anything.
