I turned away from the floristry and started to head back to mine and (y/n)'s apartment.
It's nothing. It's gotta be nothing.
I knew how much love (y/n) had for me. However, I haven't seen her smile like that in ages..
I clutched a tight grip on the ring on my pocket. Considering on  throwing it into the river, I zipped the pocket up.
I reached our front door and slumped inside. Heading upstairs, I entered the bedroom and sat cross legged on the bed. My phone showed the time of 17:55. (Y/n) should be home in around five minutes.
I know it meant nothing but, I just couldn't get the way she looked at the hunk out of my head. He made her laugh in the way I felt my emptiness couldn't. He was so handsome, admittedly. (Y/n) had the biggest, most beautiful and goofiest grin plastered on her face. But it wasn't because of me...
I heard the front door open downstairs.
Act natural, bae is coming..
I pretended to be in the middle of an angry birds level before replying to (y/n) calling me.
"Jack!?" She echoed.
"Yeah?" I grunted.
Little footsteps came running up the stairs and (y/n)'s smiling self burst into the room. She ran to the bed a dove next to me. I couldn't help but smile at her.
She sat up and looked at my miserable face.
"What's up baby?" (Y/n) sounded concerned.
"I'm fine.." I looked in the opposite direction.
