Chapter 14

"Ok... I knew I was wrong and I got Ditto fired from Nancy's but she too did something and I knew that it must be worst than what I did!" Jack thought to himself...

"What did you do Jack... Why is Nancy angry?" Ditto snapped while pointing her finger at Jack... She could barely see anything even with that one good eye...

"I... um... I did nothing!" Jack just kept his head down and tried his best to avoid any eye contact with her...

"Jack answer me!" She again yelled...

Bess was looking at both of them with a pissed off face... To her, their fighting was way more annoying than body switch…

"You did something too... First you tell me that why do I have a black eye?" Jack grinds his teeth at her... on that, she got nervous and looked down...

"Enough! Enough! You two!" Bess yelled...

Both of them looked at her... She was standing with arms crossed on her chest while having an outraged expression on her face...

"Gawd!! Can't you two sense the seriousness of this situation...?... You two are in each other's body... Do you have any idea what that means....?"

On her question Ditto raised her hand like a school kid but soon dropped it when Bess shot her a death glare... Both were sitting like kids, looking at her...

"It’s been an entire day and all you two have done is ruining each other's life instead of finding solution to this problem!"

They both looked at each other ashamed....

"Tell us Jack what happened at Nancy's?" She asked Jack...

He was caught off guard...

"Nothing much..." He wept the sweat off his forehead while smiling at them nervously...

*Storytelling*

"This is not butterscotch!"

"It is...!"

"Listen you B****! Get me a Butterscotch ice cream now or I'll call your manager!"

I grabbed the cup of ice cream and turned around to get ice cream but suddenly I felt a hand grabbing my ass...

"Nice ass!"

And the moment he did that... I turned around with a smile and upended the cup on to his head...

He was in awe and I was fired...

*End of storytelling*

Both Bess and Ditto were sitting with their jaws dropped... While he was totally casual about it, like nothing ever happened

"You pig!" And with that Ditto lunged for Jack's long locks...

Bess sat there watching them fighting like two toddlers rolling on the floor and knocking each other...

"Get off me...!" Jack said struggling under Ditto's clutch on his hairs...

"You got me fired!" Ditto yelled while clutching on Jack's hair making Jack scream in pain...

He somehow pushed her off and used a couch pillow to hit her in the face, making Ditto angry again and once more going for Jack...

"Stop!" Bess screamed sitting on the sofa...

Both of them looked up...

"He started it"

"She started it!"

Both pointed at each other at the same time...

"You got me fired Jack!" Ditto said with a hurt face to Jack... Jack's long brunette hair was a mess now after the fight...

"I didn't mean to, he grabbed my... Your ass!" Jack tried to explain...

"What happened to you... you have done something too...?" Jack said accusingly...

"Yes... Go on Ditto, confess!" Bess said tired by the fights of the two...

"I didn't do anything intentionally... after I left you two, I returned to your place... "

*Story telling*

"Bleeep... Jack are you coming for the appointment today or you have any decent excuse to miss it again?"

"Jack! Call me as soon as you get my messages!"

"Jack! I know you're there... Putting me on answering machine cannot give you your eyes back... C'mon! It’s just a Lasik surgery not a bypass! Last time you ran off screaming from the OT and scared the shit out of other patients!"

The answering machine was flooding with that lady's voice...

I suddenly felt my mobile shaking in pants, most probably a text message... I pulled it out and only then I realized that you are blind!" Ditto looked at Jack, who instantly dropped gaze in embarrassment...

"Jack... Get here in 15 minutes, I cannot afford to cancel this appointment... you are ten minutes away from here... I know you are scared of this but please Jack you need to get this done... Goddammit! Call back"

I had nothing to do so I took that last message as my cue to make the day productive... we have only one eye care centre in 10 minutes radius... I took subway and got your eye thing done in couple of hours...

But when I was on my way when I saw the cutest guy on the planet... He winked at me and I blushed, it was all natural to me until I realized that I was a guy…

He came closer to me with a smile, I completely forgot that I was a guy... if he was attracted by me then most probably he was a gay...

We were chatting and then all of a sudden...

"Look mates fag!!" I hear some guys in a different accent approaching us and next I know I was on the floor of subway getting kicked...

*End of Storytelling*

"Cool now I'm publicly gay!" Jack sneered at Ditto...

"That was unintended!" Ditto spat back...

Bess hit both with pillow to have their attention... Both of them looked at her annoyed...

"You two totally deserve this punishment I guess! I mean she got your vision fixed Jack... but you choose to ignore it... and you Ditto, he punched Violet and thanks to him, she would never get in your way again!"

Both of them looked at each other...

"Thanks! ... I... I needed that!" Jack said while fiddling with his small girly fingers...

"Thanks for... for defending me?" Ditto smiled at him while extending her hand to shake...

He held it and they smiled at each other...

But all of a sudden both of them felt a jolt and jerked away each other's hand...

"I'm back... I'm back in my body!" Ditto yelled in excitement while Jack too had a wide grin on his face...

"I got my body back!" Jack screamed too...

Bess too was confused but happy at the same time...

Is it over… the fun is it over?
