"I-I don't know how to explain it to my dad" I stuttered, my heart was full of adrenaline.
"We don't have to rush this, but first I need to take you somewhere" he pulled my hands and smiled
"Where?" I giggled
"It's a surprise" he whispered down my ear.

"Here we are" he stopped the car
"A bank" my eyebrows raised as I stared at the large busy building
"Yeah, let's go in" he looked excited for I don't have a clue what. It's just a bank
We walked in and waited in line for the next booth.
"Hello" grayson said as he approached the lady
"Good afternoon" she smiled
"Um, could I get out $220,000" he slightly whispered
"WHAT? Grayson why are you taking out so much money?" I pulled his shoulder.
"You know that picture of a house that you showed me on Instagram" he said
"Yeah?"
"Well I found it near Houston, and it was surprisingly for sale, I'm getting you it and I want to live with you" he smiled
"Uh Grayson" I smiled and hugged him in front of everyone
"Right so this is $220,000 exactly" she handed us some money tied up.
"This is it, I'm getting my dream hous-"
"GET ON THE FUCKING FLOOR" all of a sudden I heard
Me and Grayson's heads turned straight away to the door when at least 5 people ran in wearing ski masks, with guns
"GET DOWN" one pointed a lady in the head.
Everyone crouched down, to save our lives.
All of a sudden a man tried to run out but one robber shot him right in the chest, man they weren't playing.
He collapsed to the floor which only made me more scared so I grabbed onto Grayson tighter
"It's okay, just don't move and let them get what they want" gray whispered
"It can't end now Grayson, not when my happiness has only just began" a tear matted down his maroon shirt.
My heart nearly stopped when I saw one of the robbers coming over to us.
I shivered into Grayson's chest
The man was about to walk past us until he caught a glimpse of our money in the corner of his eye.
He stepped back and tilted his head "awww, man come here" he guided his 'friend'
"Look, young love. A hunky with his little skank. What are you supposedly going to do with that money little boy?" He moved intimidatingly close to Grayson
"You gonna buy a house? have a baby? have a happy life?" He asked
Grayson nodded, not saying a word
"Aww how sweet" he evilly giggled
"Well give me that fucking money, so I can destroy all those dreams" he stuck his gun up to us
Grayson hesitated then slowly handed the cash to the guy, who snatched it out of his hands.
"Good" he smirked
He then walked off, just like that. Just taking my dreams away from me like it's nothing.
I closed my eyes into Grayson's shoulder
"It's okay, at least we're safe" grayson played with my hair trying to calm me down.
"Can we go now?" I asked
"No, we have to stay down until they leave, otherwise we'll get shot"
After 20 minutes we heard repeated gun shots with shouting
"GIVE ME THE FUCKING MONEY BEFORE I SHOOT YOUR KID" I heard, what sick people.
Out of nowhere A very angry robber came from the room randomly shooting people
I instantly ducked down and watched the poor people getting killed
He ran up to us "GET UP" he screamed in my face
I stood up instantly.
He stepped in closer to me and pointed the gun in my face
"Goodbye little girl" he whispered and I closed my eyes
But when I heard a gunshot I was still alive, so I opened my eyes and Grayson was punching the robber
"GRAYSON NO STOP" I tried to pull him off but his force pushed me away.
But as much as I thought Grayson was strong, the robber was 10x more stronger.
He picked Grayson up and ran into the back of the bank.
"GRAYSON" I tried to run it but I felt little hands push me back.
I looked behind me and it was a young girl.
I ignored her and tried to run again.
"No stop, if you go in there your gonna risk you life" her high voice said as she pulled my leg back
"But I love him" I looked down at her
"As much as you love him, you should always put your life before others" she had puffy eyes
"Where are your parents?" I picked her up and put her on my shoulders
"They are dead, on the floor over there" she pointed and I was heartbroken about the sight that little girl had to see of her parents.
"I'm sorry"
"Just stay here, he's the man he'll protect himself. And I promise he'll be back soon" she smiled
I smiled back "thank you" I whispered

I lost the little girl, and I was worried sick about her, and Grayson, he still wasn't back.
I thought I had no choice but to go look in the room.
As soon as I was about to walk through, the girl came running out.
"Um what's your name?" She asked
"Luna"
"Well Luna, I broke my promise" she stood playing with her nails, holding in her tears.
"What promise?" I asked
She gulped, as soon as I saw the guilt in her face the memories begin to flow back, I think she was talking about..
