There's This Guy. He Lives In My Room. Oh, Yeah, And He's A Ghost.

Luke looks shocked when Kara bursts in the door, with me following miserably behind.
"Annie? Kara? What's going on?" He asks, confused, as he glances at Kara's livid expression, and my terrified one.
He goes into the cupboard, bringing out a towel, which he drapes around my wet and trembling shoulders.
"Her," Says Kara, pointing a finger at me.
"What about Annie?" Luke's voice is hard, and I am surprised at how protective he is of me.
"She has a lot of explaining to do."
"For what?!" Luke sounds exasperated.
"For staying underwater for over 5 minutes, without having to come up for air."
Luke freezes. He looks at me. "And what...what did Annie say?"
"That she used these." Kara holds up the snorkels. "But I wanted to ask you."
"Annie is telling the truth."
Kara looks sceptical, but I know she trusts Luke, more than anything.
She turns to me. "I'm sorry, Annie, for not believing you. I do now."
I smile, and shrug.
But I know it's not okay.
Because what would have happened if she had found out, or someone else found out?
This, this THING, my so called 'gift' of mine, is ruining my life!
I'm sooo sssooorrrrrryyy. Only 3 more chapters till the end of Gills, but they'll be long, I promise!
