CHAPTER 5

Jakes POV.

It was Monday morning again. Next to me Cassie slept and kept me warm. I had my arms around her waist and I felt like I was the luckiest person who ever walked on this planet until my alarm clock rang.

Slowly I opened my eyes and so did Cassie. I looked at her, my girlfrie..... About that right. I had to ask her. And that is soon.

- Hi gorgeous, I said to her.

She yawned and looked really tired.

- Hello handsome, she replied and looked at me.

I thought about it for a second, I had to ask now.

- Look Cassie, I've to ask you something. I said.

She gave me a questioning look.

- Are we boyfriend and girlfriend now, or..? , I continued.

- Do you want us to be?, She replied as she got closer.

If I wanted to?!

- Of Course hun, I've always wanted us to be. I told her and looked at her with a serious look.

- Don't look at me like that, boyfriend., she giggled and emphasized the last word.

I smiled with my whole body, or it felt like I did.

- I like how it sounds, I smiled and she giggled again.

We kissed and then we got up to get dressed. While she was doing all the girlie stuff with make up and stuff I headed downstairs. Cassie didn't say “girlie stuff” she always called it “necessary stuff”.

Anyway I made ourselves breakfast and then I sat down at the table and waited for Cassie to come down so we could eat together. After about 5 minutes she came into the kitchen. We ate and brushed our teeth and then we walked to school.

When we got to the school we went in different directions to get to our lockers.

I looked at our schedule and saw that we were supposed to have gym class. Cassies favourite. Not.

When she saw it she wasn't going to be happy. As we borrows clothes from the school I just closed my locker again and went over to Cassies.

I saw Emma and when I pasted her I mumbled a “Hello”.

That's strange, Jaquline was not there. Maybe she was at her locker, the toilet?

I passed Jaqulines locker and she wasn't there either, then she had to be on the toilet because she is a healthy freak so she was never sick. And she would never skip school.

I arrived to where Cassie was and I tapped her shoulder, quickly she spun around.

- Oh hello it's you., she said.

- Why so disappointed?, I asked teasingly.

- Shut up, she said and then she stood on her tiptoes and I bent down slightly. It felt like electricity when her lips touched. Our lips moved in sync.

The first time for real as boyfriend and girlfriend in public.

I felt people staring at us. Everybody knew us as best friends so this probably came as a chock to them.

- What class do we have now? Cassie asked as we pulled away.

- Gym class, I chuckled,

Now Cassie really looked disappointed.
