I'm not Invisible. { The Wanted Fanfiction }

CHAPTHER 1

Jakes POV.

-DAD, I shouted. I heard him running down the stairs to our studio. Yep, you heard right, studio.

- What is it Jake? , he asked with a wondering look.

- I just wondered if you could help me with this homework I got on the music class. I know you're good at this kind of stuff.

He smiled. Just like the smile I saw on the pictures from all the tours and concerts he did with his friends when he was younger. Dad always liked whenever I talked about music. He said I had talent.

-What's about? , he asked, still happy.

- You're supposed to sing a song that someone who inspires you made. So which one of The Wanted's songs were the best?

He started laughing. The Wanted was the name of his old band. Dad was one of the members of the band and they were famous all over the world. They succeeded. He made a dream come true.

- Hard question.. But I have to say I found You is one of my favourites.

We were interrupted by mum who came down to the studio.

- Hey Kels, dad said.

- Hey love, what are you guys doing down here? , she asked with a questioning look on here still so beautiful face. She is 41 and gosh my mum is still so gorgeous.

- Dad is helping me with music homework. I'm going to sing I Found You, I answered her.

Her face lit up even more.

-Oh my god! How fun, hun! Tom, show him how to do it!

He gave me a look which meant that I should join. I did. Dad and I sang for everything we had and mum acted like a fangirl. It was really fun to sing with dad. And in that moment I knew, I was going to be just like him. World known.

- Jack, you're really good! You sound a bit like both Nathan and Tom. I love it!

- DINNER IS READY!, I heard my 3-years younger sister shout. We dropped everything we had in our hand and ran upstairs. We all knew she made pancakes!

It was Monday again. The weekend went fast and I didn't do anything more than playing video games, eat and sleep. But of course I rehearsed on I Found You..

I had just opened my locker when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around quickly and saw my best friend. She was the most beautiful person I've ever seen with her brown wavy hair end gorgeous green eyes.

- Hi Cassie! How are you? , I asked. I was really happy to see her because she was ill last week.

And she is my secret crush and have been since I was like 9 years old. I've known her my entire life. That's because she's Nathan's and Elizabeth's daughter, my parents best friends.

-Hello Jake, I'm fine now when I've met you again, haha, she laughed and pulled me into a hug.

You can think it would be awkward, but it isn't awkward at all when I hug Cassie because it has happened so many times.

It was time to go to our first class which was music. Cassie and I walked beside each other towards the classroom. We had decided to not say which song we picked to sing and why to each other.

-Okay class, your homework for today was to sing a song who inspires you to reach your goals, our teacher said.

I swallowed hard and took a deep breath. I was going to fix this, no doubt about it.

- First up is Cassandra Sykes, the teacher continued. Cassie stood up and walked towards the mini stage and grabbed the microphone.

- I'm going to sing All Time Low by The Wanted and I've chosen this song because my father's band made it and they reached their goals, and now I'm going to reach mine.

Cassie breathed in and then the music started. All Time Low is a really good song actually.

Before I've never realized how good Cassie sings, but she is absolutely amazing. She sings with somuch passion in her voice.

The song came to an end and I gave her really loud applauses, and so did the rest of our class.

A few other students sang their songs and they sang songs like Just the way you are by Bruno Mars and other. I wasn't really that focused.

- Jake Parker, you're up next. The teacher shouted.

I looked at Cassie before I left to the stage, she gave me thumbs up. I smiled at her. Oh god I'm in love with that girl. Unfortunately I could never in my wildest dreams think that she had the same feelings.. Jake, focus. Not girls now. Now all you has to do is to sing that damn song and then it's over.

I inhaled and exhaled slowly before grabbing the microphone.

- Hello guys, I'm going to sing I Found You by The Wanted because it is a top song and it makes me wanna dream even bigger and make my dreams come true.

The music started and I sang. I saw everyone with a chocked look on their faces. None of them had ever heard me sing before, yes everyone except Cassie. She just sat in the audience with a big smirk. But at the same time I saw pride on her face. I sang that good? Really?

When I was finished even my teacher clapped her hands and then when I sat down beside Cassie again she said that it was really good. Quite the same thing I've told her actually. Maybe we could do a duet sometime? It was totally a good idea.
