CHAPTER 2

Cassie's POV.

The week went fast, really fast actually. It didn't happen anything special, I hang out with Jake, and did my homework.

At the end of the corridor I saw my friends. They were one year older then me, 17, so they weren't in my class.

- Hey Cassie!, Emma shouted. I looked up and saw her waving at me.

I walked towards them.

- Hello girls, how are you? , I asked politely.

- I'm good, thank you, Jaquline answered. Do you want to come to my party at my house tonight?

I mean, you're 16 now, sometime has to be your first party, she continued.

I wasn't sure about it.. But she had a point.

- All right, I'll be there. What time?, I asked.

-Be at my house at 8pm, she answered.

I just gave her a small nod. Then I thought about it, Jake had to be with me on my first real party.

- Hey Jaquline!?

She looked at me with a curious look.

-Can I bring Jake? , I asked her and she gave me a wink.

- Of course you can, she said.

I felt someone tap on my shoulder and I swung around and almost fell to the floor because it went so fast. Jake stood there. Gosh he's handsome with his bright blue eyes and brown hair. And to not mention that smile of his. Gorgeous.

- Hi Jake, I shouted at him and threw myself into his arms. I loved his hugs. Warm and soft.

He chuckled as we pulled away.

-Hey beautiful, he said. My heart melts every time he tells me I'm beautiful. It gives me a small hope that he may likes me back, but he never says anything about it.

- You and I are going to Jackie's party tomorrow., I said firmly with a smirk.

He looked surprised.

- And if I refuse?, he chuckled. That laugh of his is so perfect.

Oh my god I'm in love with my Best friend.

- Then I'll bite your toe in your sleep., I threatened him with my most attractive smile,

He once again gave out a small laughter.

-Okay then. I'll pick you up at 7.45 so be ready then., he told me.

I just nodded.

The bell rang and we headed towards our classroom to have our last lesson for today.

6.30 pm

I saw what time it was and I decided to get ready. I showered earlier so all I had to do was to fix my hair and make up and of course get dressed. I picked a pretty short black dress with an opening at the back and no neckline at all. To the dress I wore a pair of black heels and some gold bracelets. I curled my hair and did my make up witch was a natural look.

When I was ready I walked down the stairs and the doorbell rang, there Jake stood, in beige chinos and a white t-shirt and a black jacket.

I was right in time. I grabbed my jacket and grabbed my purse.

Just before we were supposed to leave Jake handed me a beautiful red rose.

- Oh, thank you very much, how sweet of you Jake, love you!, I gave him a hug and then we started walking to Jaquline's house.
