“You’re barking mad,” Lillian told me as she stared at me. We were sitting across from each other on my bed in our bedroom. I had just told her everything that Dumbledore had told me mere hours ago. I had even told her what Dumbledore told Sister Katherine, which was that he, was my uncle that had been looking for me for years and wanted to take me in.

“It’s the truth, everything he said.” I replied as she just gaped at me.

“Are you sure he isn’t just trying to kidnap you and do evil things!?”

I laughed at her, “I’m positive, this man knew stuff only a family member would know. And how else do you explain the things I do? Remember the time I told you about all when Tommy Allan’s shirt caught fire when I was eight after he tried to lock me in the storage closest? Or all the other times where something just spontaneously caught fire whenever I was really upset, or even the times when things moved without me touching them? It explains why all those things happened.” I replied as I left out the part that most witches weren’t able to do the fire thing, but maybe Dumbledore was just trying to scare me so I wouldn’t do it on purpose now.

“Yes but those are just accidents and weird coincidences.”

“But what about all the dreams I’ve had about a weird magical place, or how whenever my emotions are going haywire something strange happens. What about those?”

“So you’re telling me that there are such things as witches and wizards then?” Lillian asked as I nodded my head.

“I think there are and I think I may be a witch…” I trailed off, “it would explain why I’m so different then anybody else, why it feels like I don’t belong anywhere.”

“But you’re not that different,” Lillian stated stubbornly.

“Lilly, I have white hair.”

“Did that weirdo professor explain the reason in that?”

I looked at her curiously, “Actually no he didn’t, but he said I would remember things about my past later on. Maybe I’ll figure out then.”

Lillian sighed, “I just can’t believe you’re leaving me…”

“Lilly,” I said with a small smile as I sat next to her, “I’m not leaving, Dumbledore said I’d be able to owl you everyday!”

“Owl?”

“Yeah apparently they use owls to send letters, weird huh?” I asked with a smile as Lilly just shook her head.

“This is completely mental.”

“Barking mad in that matter.” I replied with a smile, “But it explains a lot of things.”

Lilly sighed, “I suppose so, but what am I going to do about Camille?”

“You’ll be leaving for Paris before I even leave for Hogwarts. And if you have any problems at this new school, just send me a letter and I’ll be there faster then you can say jelly jinx.” I grinned.

“Jelly what?” Lilly asked with a smile as I laughed.

“Exactly! Plus, once I get into Hogwarts, I’ll make sure Dumbledore allows you to come over Christmas Break and every holiday.” I replied as Lilly smiled.

“Well I would love to see a place actually filled with magic.”

“There we go!” I exclaimed with a smile as Lilly stood up.

“And you never know maybe you’ll finally meet a good looking bloke and make him your snogging partner!” Lilly exclaimed as I grabbed the nearest pillow next to me and tossed it at her.
