Melissa felt as if every time she looked at Richard all her problems disappeared. Richard reversed into a parking spot and opened the door for Melissa. Sadly they didn't have first period together,So they split apart. Melissa rushed to the science room.
She sat in her seat as her teacher taught the lesson. Melissa was no longer listening to the teacher. She started daydreaming about how her and Richard could be together. Melissa knew her mom would never let her have a boyfriend. Her daydream ended as the bell rang reminding her to get to math.
This was the first time she rushed to math class. Melissa knew she would be seeing Richard in math class. She was hoping that he would ask her out on a date. Richard was silent the whole class he didn't even whisper a hello. Melissa felt hurt by his actions and decided to walk home by herself.
