Colton's P.O.V

"Why exactly do I have to do this again?"

"Because, you lost the bet, now it's time for you to fulfill your end of the bargain." Andrew said, putting a hand on top of my shoulder and giving it a squeeze. "Now, off you go, Cole."

I sighed and made an attempt to move.

Key word: attempt

I was about to move, but, something pointy and rough made contact with my left arm. Looking down, I saw a hand clutching bouquet of roses. I looked up at the owner of the said hand.

"What's with the roses?" I asked Andrew. He smirked.

"Chicks dig 'em... bought them yesterday for 5 bucks, aren't they pretty, Cole?" Pretty? He didn't even bat an eyelash at the flowers' direction. He shoved them in my hands and I eyed him skeptically.

"What's the catch?"

"Oh, nothing. Just pay me double, is all."

Great. I knew I shouldn't have made that deal.

We made a silly bet. Andrew said he could beat me in COD. I told him he couldn't since he's not really into those things. If he could beat me, I'd have to ask a girl out on his terms. Meaning, he'd pick the girl, he'd choose the way I'd ask her out, etcetera.

And if I won, he'd wear a floral dress to school.

Of course, I accepted. I mean, who wouldn't want to see Andrew, my bulky, well-built, too much testosterone-vibed best friend wear a dress... filled with flowers... to school?

But I guess we won't be seeing that scene anytime soon. The guy obviously won. The cheating liar turned out to be a kick ass COD player...

Stupid reason, I know.

"I'm gonna get you one day." I glared. He just smirked and laid back on his seat.

"I'll be waiting."

Sighing, I walked over to her table. Once I was close enough, I overheard her conversation with her friends.

"Okay, fine. But I still am capable. In fact, I like someone now."Chelsea said. I smiled to myself, I didn't know that. Wait, no, I didn't know a lot of things about this girl, no one did. I guess that's why I've had the... hots for her.

Yes, Chelsea Clarkson had caught my eye at some point; I always found her intriguing, a girl of mystery. But I never made a move on her, I just couldn't bring myself to. My friends knew that, I guess that's why Andrew picked her.

She already likes someone... makes this even more challenging.

I like a challenge.

"Well, I feel bad for him." I said. When her friends saw me, they stiffened; some even had their eyes bulging out of their sockets. I even took the liberty of winking at the raven haired one... just for show.

"Because I'm going for it anyway." I said. Chelsea was now looking at me with surprised filled eyes.

"Chelsea Clarkson, go out with me?"

She wasn't talking.

Why wasn't she talking?

Does silence mean yes?

I mean, if she's rejecting me, wouldn't it be at least decent to tell me I'm rejected?

It's not like it'd stop me anyway.
