Hey guys:). This is my first book that I've written. All characters are fictional and are my original ideas and thoughts as such I would appreciate it if you do not copy them. Thank you.

I hope you enjoy my book and thanks for reading:).

"McCall" A voice coldly called over the harsh whir of blades.
The few strands that escaped my bun flitted in the wind as I yelled, "Yes Captain. "

The captain steadily approached me with a stern expression on his face as he halted beside me. "There's a job that needs to be completed. It is relatively simple and requires a sealed package to be delivered to this specific location." I remained silent as I waited for the captain to continue, "We leave in five minutes." A thin slip of paper was passed between my hands as the captain strode away.

I took in a deep breath and glanced down, noting the location I nodded once and crumpled the paper.

The cool metal of my lighter offered some comfort as I removed it from my pocket and lit a cigarette. I deeply inhaled and as the smoke entered my lungs, a huge sense of relief filled me. Finally.

"I'll take it, sir."
"Good." He said, a smile slowly covering his face.
"Do you mind if I accompany you?"

A surprised look took over my features and I nodded once as a sense of pride filled me. "Not at all, Captain."

We walked out of the cool garage and into the smoldering heat outside. Side by side, I walked with Captain Jonathan towards the chopper.

Gracefully hoisting myself up and gliding in, I buckled up. Out of my peripheral vision I noticed the Captain doing the exact same thing.

While breathing deeply in and out I flicked up the switches - the blades slowly started gaining speed.
I turned towards the Captain seconds before a whirlwind could form from the spinning blades, "Sir?"

"Yes, Sarah."
"Why me?" I whispered.
A silence filled the roaring air as we took off, perhaps the Captain did not hear me. "Why not, Sarah. Why not." He replied into his activated headset, making no sense whatsoever.

Shaking off my confused state of mind, I worked to keep the chopper on course, swerving slightly as I changed direction. We stayed silent for the remainder of the trip, only speaking when absolutely necessary.

"Captain, we might have a slight problem landing", I nervously voiced out as I eyed the grassy plains below.

"Not to worry, Sarah. Nothing you can't handle. Keep your calm and focus."
My gloved hands gripped the handle above tightly as we swerved roughly before landing.

We stayed silent as we waited for the engines to cool down and the blades to slow, before unbuckling ourselves and getting out. The grassy green plains of the field comforted me almost as much as the large warehouse at its centre.

"Captain Jonathan, where are they?" I questioned irately.
"Patience, they should be here soon, Sarah." He replied with a tight lipped smile, verging on a grimace.

I leaned against the chopper, my eyes half-closed while I hummed a sweet lullaby to calm myself down. Just then, three black SUV's pulled up.

I noticed how quick the Captains shoulders tensed as the cars neared, before coming to a final stop a few meters away from us. "Get inside, Sarah. And don't come out until I say so." He sternly said.

I hesitantly nodded and leaped into the helicopter. I watched from the side mirror as he strode halfway to the SUV's before coming to a stop.

In precision, the doors opened and multiple men in black suits and dark sunshades stepped out. A dark, threatening aura surrounded them as they stalked towards the waiting Captain.
