Authors Note: This is the perspective of the girl Damion is in love with, Steph, now for this chapter you are going to want to pay very close attention to Stephs reaction to how he wakes up.

When Bear said 'work' I didn't know what she was talking about until the next morning. When I walked out the next morning I see three creatures standing in front of Bear talking to her. I know she has done this before but, I still don't trust these creatures. Bear calls me over, "Steph come meet our guests." So, I slowly walk over.

"Steph, these are the angels that watch over the forest." Bear starts to explain, "This one to the right, his name is Dominus. The one in the middle is, Hezekia. And the last one on the left is,Persus."

I lightly smile and wave. Persus speaks, his voice a low baritone yet soothing voice, "Bear, what is it that you want us to do?"

She smiles, "Nice of you to ask. We need to protect the clearing from everyone. Nobody can get in or get out without me or Damion saying its okay."

"But isn't Damion healing?" Dominus points out.

Bear snarls, "Yes, do you not see that is why I said it!"

Hezekia chimes in, "Bear stay calm. He was only asking a question."

Bear frowns, "I need him to wake up soon"

"He will, Bear." I state, "I promise."

As Hezekia helps Dominus build the barrier, Persus helps Bear and I keep everything under control. Bear is out hunting with Rex, Regina is caring for Nyx since Bumble has gone and I watch over Damion. As I watch him sleep I see his wound start to heal faster but not all to much faster.

As I look around at what is going on, nothing seems to going wrong at the moment. Nothing should happen with the angels here, but I still don't trust them in the least. They don't seem safe, something in their eyes. I wanna say something to Bear but she knows them I guess so i don't wanna interfere.

The next morning I hear a loud crash outside as if something is trying to get through the barrier, or already has. I slowly walk out into the field and see the barrier is holding but there is a pack of about 60 or 70 Hell Hounds wanting to go after Damion.

I hear another crash on the other side of the barrier and see two Giants slamming on the invisible wall. How many creatures want Damion to die? Can Damion even die?

I suddenly hear a crash above me and there are two Dark Dragons scratching and slamming their tails on the barrier. I never knew dragons existed until today. I look back at the cave worried knowing that when Damion wakes up the barrier is going to fall.

Dominus came over to me and looked up, "Nothing can get through here but it will be war when Damion wakes up. These creatures have everything against the demons but, have no say in what happens to them so a few years ago four species declared war on the demons and now that Damion is the last one on this world? He is alone. The fourth species that isn't here yet is the Dark Angels but, even if they do show up they will be patient. They were once human so they have some concept of fair warfare. Not that they use it a lot. Steph we need to be careful with these creatures and we need to make sure that barrier doesn't fall."

I look down at my feet. What if Damion Doesn't wake up? That's my only fear what if he doesn't wake up....

The next day I wake up to see Hezekia standing with Dominus is the middle of the clearing. They turn to look at me and I notice something about their eyes before they change back to blue. Why were their eyes black? They smile at me and I slightly smile back.

Nyx runs up to me, "Steph! Something is wrong with Bear!"

I look startled at Nyx and run to the small hut we built for ourselves when we aren't watching Damion. As I run over to the hut Persus steps in front of the door, "Bear is fine. Please go back to your duty."

I snarl, "Let me past! She is like a sister to me and Nyx never lies!"

Persus grins, "Well he did this time."

I shake my head, "I don't believe it."

"Maybe he is just getting older and is realizing that everyone isn't the safest anymore." He replies with a grin.

I shake my head and start to walk away, but, I turn around and stare at Persus, "If Nyx really is lying then let me into the cottage."

Persus just shakes his head.

"Fine. I know what you are Persus, and when Damion wakes up? You, Hezekia, and Dominus are dead." I say with a smirk and I casually walk away.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few hours later I watch the cave hoping Damion would wake up soon. Honestly, it might not happen all that soon. I'm hoping it does though. Dominus and Hezekiah have been acting almost exactly the same as Persus was the other day. It is getting really weird around here without Damion being awake. Bear hasn't come out of the cottage in hours and I am starting to worry about her.

Not even a few minutes later I hear noises in the cave. I run over and look in. Damion is waking up. Something is off though... Something is very very off...

I scream.
