~Chapter 5: Invisible~
«J I N Y O U N G»

What the heck was that? Did I just see her teeth as fangs?! And her eyes as red as blood?! I'm starting to get crazier these days.

I was walking through the hallways on the way to the infirmary, since I wasn't feeling too good. I went to my locker first, to check my stuff. I closed my locker and I saw Seol walking in the hallway by herself, listening to music. "Oh, Seol-"  she walked past me. Her eyes aren't red anymore.

~At the door to the infirmary~
I was about to open the door to the infirmary, but it was opened by someone else in the inside. It was BTS' Suga aka Yoongi.

"Oh hey Yoongi." I said to him. I was waiting for his reply, but instead, he shot me a death glare and didn't say anything.

He walked past me too. What is up with everyone today?

«Y O O N G I»

I was just minding my own business and feeling embarrassed when Seol caught me staring. I think she thinks I'm a creep now. I'm so stupid, I thought. All of a sudden, that Jinyoung guy bursted into the room while he was tightly clenching onto a piece of paper. He walked up to Seol's desk and started screaming at her. I heard only a little bit of their conversation, but Seol hasn't said a word.

"Hwang Seol!" Gosh, that Jinyoung guy really needs to calm down. Everyone in the class turned their heads to them. But she looked extremely calm. She looked like she didn't really care. Then she finally spoke up.

"I already told you that I didn't do it, right?" While she said that, she was smirking. That's like the first time I've ever seen her show any proper emotions.

But then Jinyoung widened his eyes and ran out of the class. He's even weirder than Seol.

"Serves you right, stubborn guy." It was only loud enough that I could hear it. She shifted back into her position and continued listening to music again. She closed her eyes and didn't say a word. I wanted to make sure she was okay, so I went up to her desk.

"Hey, are you okay, Seol?" I asked, kind of hesitating. She opened her eyes and looked at me.

"Seriously, can't everyone just leave me alone?" She closed her eyes again and didn't face me.

From the way she's acting now, it's all Jinyoung's fault.

Seol is my friend, well, more like a one-sided friendship. But still, I should help her out and comfort her.

I was still standing beside her desk. She didn't look so well, so I touched her forehead expecting it to be at least a little warm. But no.... it was freezing cold. She slapped my hand away from her and stood up from her desk. She walked out of the class and ignored me.

After 5 minutes, she still didn't come back, so I went to the infirmary to get some medicine just in case something happens to her. I was guessing she was just wandering around the school hallways. It took me a while to find the medicine. When I found the medicine, I opened the door and saw Jinyoung standing there. He looked pretty surprised to see me here too. I should ignore him for Seol's sake, I thought.

"Oh, hey Yoongi-" gosh, since when were we close enough for him to call me Yoongi? I walked past him and he gave me a weird expression. Serves him right.

*time skip*

«S E O L»

The bell rang signalling that recess was over. I walked right into class after hearing the bell. The school hallways were pretty quiet, which I enjoyed.

I took off my earphones when I arrived in class. The teacher arrived 5 minutes late, so I took out my notebook and started drawing a self-portrait. I know, I'm weird. I quite liked drawing. I liked drawing things in detail, and doodling won't satisfy me. I stopped drawing all of a sudden. I smelled something unusual. I looked at the class doorway and there was a new student standing beside our teacher.

"Settle down now, class! I've got something special to tell you all. We'll be having a new student! Please treat him nicely." Ms. Ahn was signalling the student to come in the class and introduce himself.

"Hi everyone. My name is Kim Yugyeom. Please take care of me!" He said while smiling. A-another vampire? This is gonna be interesting. I heard girls squealing and guys clapping.

"You'll be sitting at the empty seat next to Hwang Seol. Hwang Seol, raise your hand!" I raised my hand awkwardly and he smiled at me.

He sat down next to me and I did a small smile without showing my teeth. He turned to me.

"Hi. I'm Yugyeom. Nice to meet you." He said while smiling.

"I'm Hwang Seol." I said while smiling so that he could see my fangs. My eyes turned slightly red. His smile disappeared.

"Are you..... then we're the same." He smirked.
