"Do you have an ID or something?" Melissa stared at her computerscreen while Scott was holding your blooded body. "I think we need to make some X-rays." She stared at Isaac who was scratching his neck and avoiding her glance. "Most humans can be a little breakable when they run into a werewolf."
"Isaac is sorry, okay?" Scott exchanged a short look with Isaac for a moment while he shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe he has something in his backpack?" Without Scott having to ask for it, Isaac opened the zipper and after some digging he held your wallet in his hand.
"Thanks." Melissa took the wallet from him and she frowned her eyebrows when she found the ID card she had been looking for. "Are you sure this is the right backpack and wallet?" She looked up at Scott and Isaac and Scott nodded.
"Yeah, he's constantly carrying it around. I know what his backpack looks like, mom." Scott shifted his weight from one leg to the other. Your body was still resting on his arms and he was afraid he would harm you even more. "Can you help him, please?"
"Her." Melissa gave in your name and she scanned through your files. "She's an her." Eventually she gave the wallet back to Isaac who put it safely away in your backpack again.
"Are you sure?" Scott cocked his head slightly and he stared at your face again. He frowned his eyebrows and he licked his lips. "I really didn't know that."
"It's fine, honey." Melissa pressed enter and she lead her son and you to an empty room. "You can place her on the bed here. I will give her something against the pain and then we'll wait until someone can run some tests." Melissa waited until Scott nodded and then she walked out of the room.
"I'm sorry..." You opened your eyes and whispered. "I should have told you." You moaned while you tried to move. You had probably broken a few bones and the ones who weren't broken were at least bruised.
"No, it's fine." Scott placed his hand on your arm. "I don't care if you're a boy or a girl or something else, okay?" He sat down on the edge of your bed and he smiled. "And I promise I won't tell anyone anything if you don't want me to."
A little smile crept upon your face and you let out a relieved sigh. "I don't mind people knowing. I just don't mind people not knowing it either." You swallowed and moaned again. "I like being part of the team and hanging out with you and I was afraid that things would be different if I would tell you that I'm..." You paused for a moment, but Scott nodded encouraging. "I'm a cross dresser."
"Why would that change things?" Scott shook his head. "I get why you didn't tell me, but it doesn't change anything, okay?" He cocked his head slightly and he shrugged his shoulders. "You're still you and I'm still me and Isaac is still Isaac and the team is still the team."
Your smile brightened and you felt a tear escaping your eyes. "Thank you..." You wanted to wipe the tear away, but before you could lift your arm up Scott did it for you.
"You're welcome." Scott looked up when his mother entered the room again. "Let's make sure you can play again soon, okay?"
"Okay."
